Lovely would recommend. Cheap and cheerful. Don’t know why people are so negative about this place, I would stay here again. Clean, beds made everyday, clean towels, friendly staff. Located twenty minute walk from the square, and the souks. Off licence around the corner, which sells plenty of beer, wine and spirits. £11.00, for a bottle of wine and six beers. Highly recommended!!!

We came to the hotel with more than 10 people. The welcome is great. People are smiling and say yes to everything without sometimes even understanding. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and our room was half done. We couldn't shower because the towels hadn't been provided. The lady in the hallway refused to give them to us. She preferred to chat on WhatsApp. Rooms never ready before 4-5 p.m. Imagine when you've been away all day and you just want to take a shower but you can't because your room isn't ready. The aesthetic department downstairs should be avoided. I did my treatments in the hall and since the beautician was taking a long time (a taxi was waiting for her 1 hour later) I did not get my entire service but I had to pay the ENTIRETY. In short, I give it a 5/10 because the place is nice and quiet. The service needs to be seriously reviewed.

With the hindsight of some of the reviews i have read on this hotel, my conclusion after just staying here for a few days is they are absolutely not giving the hotel the justice it derserves. Yes the hotel is old, might be some tiles missing here and there' or some wall plug not sitting 100 % in the wall. But generally its not a problem that can't be solved if you ask the staff they are both friendly and helpfull. With a large family in marrakech and the experience of travelling here every other year for the last 30 years this is nothing out of the ordinary on hotels of marrakech unless you are staying at something absolutely high end hotel which will probably cost you small fortune Garden is magnificent with a spacious pool area, friendly and helpfull staff that solves any problems you might have, good food with fair prices. Rooms are spacious well ventilated (Ive read a lot of people complaining about the A/C, to that i can just say morocco is one of the warmest places on earth specially during the summer time and thats not anything even the best A/C can solve) The only negative thing is the area around the hotel once was a ”highend” district with lots of luxury hotels sadly the last couple of years the area has been in decay leaving it quite ”dead” which means you have to find a taxi to get to anywhere interesting which is not a big cost (20Dh-40dh), but can be tricky if you are travelling more then 3 persons due to lack of big taxis and the fact that small taxi´s only take 3 people. Lovely friendly members of staff, one helped me flag down a taxi and haggle on the fare price too. The apartment had a nice layout and was quite spacious. The seating area was nothing but comfort all the way and had a TV mounted on the wall. The kitchen had a clean open finish paired with a breakfast table for 4 complete with kitchen equipment and utensil minus a microwave and kitchen paper towel. It also had an outdoor table to enjoy breakfast on the balcony, simply watching people go about their day whilst taking in the ray from the sun. The bathroom had lovely wall tiles that made the bathroom stand out and we were met with bathroom robes and lovely scented mini wash products. The bedrooms were nice too, however, the bedroom drawers could be a little higher as they were a little too low down to the ground. We loved how breakfast was presented. It was nice but on the simply side of things. It could stand to have just a little more of a verity to it as it's quite light. We loved that it came with freshly squeezed orange juice, nothing beat freshly squeezed. We had a lovely stay and we would stay with them again. We were very happy with Appart Hotel Mouna and their lovely friendly staff !

I recently stayed at Palais Mehdi in Marrakesh, Morocco and it was a truly fantastic experience. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. An escape from the chaos of the city center to return to at the end of the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. And let's not forget about the beautiful pool, which was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Free parking too! Overall, we had an amazing stay at Palais Mehdi and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Marrakesh. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so memorable!

The location is right by the sea, the scenery is very good, the downstairs is the beach. The end of the hotel can see the endless Atlantic! The room is not facing the sea (maybe there are very few, the estimated price is very high), but the balcony of every room can see the sea! The room is very large, clean and comfortable, and the internet is very good. The room has a kitchen, the tableware is also in line, you can make your own instant noodles. Moroccan things are not very appetizing, or noodles! Especially if you have been in Morocco for a few days, you are tired of eating Taji pot and other foods. At this time, a bowl of instant noodles can make you burst into tears! When it comes to buying instant noodles, you have to mention that the Wanda's commercial center (one-twentieth of Wanda's) is next to the hotel. This is one of the few super-comprehensive markets in Casablanca. This is a wealthy area. Carrefour in the mall, everything! There are also fast food such as KFC and McDonald's in the mall. This place is not far from the Hassan II Mosque, just take a taxi! You are a tourist, the driver does not give you a watch, you can price! The property is as it is represented. Beautiful colors and architecture and is pristine. The staff is more impressive, which in my book is far more important. The check-in process was a little frustrating because I was cranky. The man who checked me in was unendingly patient, welcoming, friendly, and professional. He made sure I understood everything about the property and security. Quite a feat, as he speaks Arabic and French and and I do not. He gave me a tour of everything. The process for meals is lovely. This is a bed and breakfast, so an elaborate tasty breakfast is available until 1000. To eat breakfast, you let the chef know by 1600. He goes to the central market to purchase what's fresh. My dinner was delicious. The aroma wafted up to my room and brought me down to the dining area a little early. The wait staff is first rate, had perfect English, and was delightful. Know that it's a 2-3 block walk from parking areas to the property. It's an easy stroke, but something to know.

We checked in to our deluxe room, and it was a horrible stay. First off, the deluxe room building is the furthest building away from the hotel, and by the time we get to our room, the view from our balcony is of a construction site and parking lot. Our room had a particularly strong vinegar smell to it, and we asked to move rooms. We were told that every deluxe room was sold out and we would be able to move rooms the next day. Next day comes around and we didn’t hear from the hotel. Every call to guest services took at least 3-5 minutes until someone answered or called back. We also came back to our hotel room unlocked, and it seemed housekeeping didn’t truly close our door when they cleaned it. On our last night, the A/C didn’t seem to work. We called guest services and the lady I spoke to told me that it was turned off for the whole hotel. When asked why or when will it be turned back on, she abruptly interrupts me and says I’m transferring you to the front desk. I waited for at least 2 minutes on the phone before someone from the front desk to answer my call, and he informs me that someone will come check our A/C. We love staying at different hotels in different countries and had no issues with other hotels in Marrakech, however, our stay at Movenpick was very underwhelming and staff didn’t seem to care at all. This has been a very awful experience, and hope that the hotel management can make a much better experience and improvement for others.

Very nice central location. Small buffet selection but good food. The streets are loud at night but expected with the fairly central location. Rooms are very comfortable and feel safe and the air conditioning is very much appreciated in the summer heat.
