Palais Namaskar

Beautifully kept grounds with expansive waters, well kept gardens. Check in was in a separate building, Nice interior. In room 108, deluxe room with water front and own jacuzzi. Jacuzzi is really a little circular tube with cold water rather than hot. Antechamber with coffee machine, office and fridges. Nice size room with sofa in front of bed then a passage way, half way in to the commode and all the way to large bathroom with big shower area, nice bath tube and airy bathroom. The passage itself is narrow and and issue when doors of clothes cabinet open. Terrace- nice bit morning sun, large bamboo tree with lots of sparrows nesting there during that evening- they fly back and make a racket in the evening around sun down. Breakfast good- in doors or outdoors. 4 courses practicallly with fruits plate followed but bread basket and pastries, cheese should have come with this rather than at the end. Next omelette and egg Benedict and finally French toast. Quality overall good. Ripe fruits, good eggs, nice French toast. Cappuccino was good. fresh orange juice. Service was slow and long pause after bread basket/ pastries and cooked food arriving. Issue with sparrows as they pick off food when left unattended including fresh food arriving from kitchen on a silver tray and waiters move away to serve them part by part. Dinner was good- see different review for restaurant. Spa- disappointing that you can only use the hammam if you have Hammam treatment and even if you have a massage not for hotel guest. That should really change. Pool area, is next to breakfast/ lunch dining area with lounge beds. Lots of people with day passes who use it too so rather bustling. Nice and sun all day but the music could be less with base, and softer and a few more choice/variety than the three CD’s that they have. It really ruined the ambience when trying to relax at the pool. Gym- good, functional, could do with more light in the day. House keeping removed coffee and tea cups/ glasses to clean and forget to return and require a call to house keeping. And forget to top up coffee capsules, tea bags And bottles of water for the coffee machine. daily bottles of water albeit present on check in day and required some prompting. Negative: far from town centre and other food. Food Options limited No shuttle service 200 maD for taxi before 7pm and 300 mad after 7pm Limited music selection. Positives: Quiet,Calming - truly a wonderful place to destress. Breakfast is good/Ala carte rather than buffet. Complimentary drinks by the pool/ lounge area. Functional Gym

Great Hotel, room, service and staff. The hotel is not far away from Marrakech. Great to stay out of the city. Very peaceful and quite place. Food it’s excellent. It’s a very good option to stay near Marrakech. 25 minutes from downtown. Excellent.

Don't get fooled by the propaganda.... The worst service vs management staff, too bad the beautiful scenery and architecture not compatible with the service....... Don't recommend to anyone specially adding problems with pool, tech prob and contaminated food in the restaurant

Location with suggestive architecture in Arabic style, professional and kind staff. We went for brunch and the pool; we found everything good and well managed except for one thing: we suggest covering all the food on the buffet and/or having an employee do it, to avoid contact with the flies for the two hours it remains exposed. Esperience to do in the palmerai. Prezzo taxi dalla Medina per 16 km, concordato con a/r 400 Dam.

This is an amazing hotel where you can relax & leave yourself to the wonderful people who work in Palais Namaskar to Look after you. Rooms are beautiful decorate, spacious & well kept. Everyone is very friendly & ready to help. I’m definitely coming back to spend more time in the Palais Namaskar & away from busy London Thank you all for giving me & my fairer the opportunity to get to know the place & love it. Morocco was my first solo traveling experience. I chose Palais Namaskar as a birthday treat to myself. I stayed for one night and wow i wish i would of stayed longer. This place is unreal something out of a movie. The staff was amazing. My room was phenomenal. Legit took my breath away. They set up my room with rose petals and even left fresh fruit and macaroons. Later that night i received the staff even surprised me with a birthday cake. Truly a wow factor as i was not expecting it. I can not wait to visit again on my next trip to morocco in the summertime so i can enjoy the pool. This time i will certainly stay for longer.

We stayed at Palais Namaskar on our last night in Marrakech. The property itself is beautiful and is surrounded by water and fountains. We had booked a suite where we had our own terrace, pool and day beds. The bathroom is stunning and spacious with a walk-in wardrobe and a separate reception room. The spa was one of the best I’ve been to- not just in Marrakech but in the world. We had our own hammam suite with a small pool, treatment room, dressing room and showers. We had the royal hammam which was luxurious and relaxing. The room service menu has a good range of options, and we had dinner on our terrace which was exactly what we needed after spending a few hours in the spa. They had gluten free / vegetarian options too for sandwiches and pasta. Overall, the service was good- except at check in. we had to cut the treatment time of our spa treatment by 30 mins as they were not able to access our room prior to 3PM and our treatment start time was 3:30 PM. We asked the manager if we could have the room 30 mins early to enable us to change and drop our bags, but we were told this was not possible as they were fully booked- odd as I only saw 3 families at breakfast the next morning. The breakfast was not a buffet but a la carte menu. The staff were not too well versed with vegetarian options and therefore this wasn’t the best experience. The hotel is located about a 20-30 min ride from central Marrakech and apart from other hotels nearby there isn’t much in the vicinity. Overall, the rooms and the spa are the best things about this hotel, if that is your priority then I would highly recommend, the service however is not the best (except for the spa which was amazing!) Next time I’m in Marrakech, I probably wouldn’t stay here but would definitely return to the spa.
