I recently stayed at Palais Mehdi in Marrakesh, Morocco and it was a truly fantastic experience. The hotel was peaceful and quiet, which was exactly what we were looking for on our vacation. An escape from the chaos of the city center to return to at the end of the day. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our room was spacious and comfortable, with all the amenities we needed. And let's not forget about the beautiful pool, which was the perfect place to relax and soak up the sun. Free parking too! Overall, we had an amazing stay at Palais Mehdi and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful and luxurious getaway in Marrakesh. We just arrived home from a fantastic week in Marrakesh after staying at this superb resort. There was not a single negative to our stay and the hotel and facilities truly were a desert paradise. From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, we were looked after by the staff in all aspects. From the receptionists to bar staff and the cleaners to the entertainment team, everyone was so friendly, helpful and fun. Our room was fantastic as well with traditional tiles and decor, it had all the necessities we needed. The double bed was huge and so comfy! The entertainment was fantastic all week with plenty of different activities to during the day as well fun shows at night. The members of the team really made the effort to know you personally too. The food was absolutely amazing as well, from Moroccan dishes to plates around the world, there was always something to choose! The desserts deserve their own review because they were incredible! The excursions on offer were also very reasonably priced and helped to contribute to this memorable trip. The free shuttle bus into Marrakesh Town center was reliable and plentiful. All in all, this was the best way to visit Morocco for the first time. We were sad to leave but happy we stayed here. I would recommend this resort to anyone. Thank you Sol Oasis Marrakesh!

With the hindsight of some of the reviews i have read on this hotel, my conclusion after just staying here for a few days is they are absolutely not giving the hotel the justice it derserves. Yes the hotel is old, might be some tiles missing here and there' or some wall plug not sitting 100 % in the wall. But generally its not a problem that can't be solved if you ask the staff they are both friendly and helpfull. With a large family in marrakech and the experience of travelling here every other year for the last 30 years this is nothing out of the ordinary on hotels of marrakech unless you are staying at something absolutely high end hotel which will probably cost you small fortune Garden is magnificent with a spacious pool area, friendly and helpfull staff that solves any problems you might have, good food with fair prices. Rooms are spacious well ventilated (Ive read a lot of people complaining about the A/C, to that i can just say morocco is one of the warmest places on earth specially during the summer time and thats not anything even the best A/C can solve) The only negative thing is the area around the hotel once was a ”highend” district with lots of luxury hotels sadly the last couple of years the area has been in decay leaving it quite ”dead” which means you have to find a taxi to get to anywhere interesting which is not a big cost (20Dh-40dh), but can be tricky if you are travelling more then 3 persons due to lack of big taxis and the fact that small taxi´s only take 3 people. We stayed in the luxury suite and the room was absolutely gorgeous, complete with our own private patio. The riad itself is very spacious and beautiful, with plenty of areas to lounge around due to it being restored and combined with another riad. The staff were extremely kind, attentive, and accommodating. Special shout out to Nadya, Muhammad and Hamsa. The food they prepared for breakfast and dinner was summarily delicious. The staff had excellent recommendations for each meal we had at the riad, as well as great recommendations for lunch and dinner in Marrakech. The location within the medina is in a residential area, so it's fairly quiet at night.

We spent wonderful days in Caravanserai with the Rotary Club with 28 people. The rooms are generous and individual and carefully maintained. The accommodation is very quietly located. The right place to tank. The atmosphere is simply charming with the beautiful lighting. The dinner was served at the pool or tent in the desired garden. The food was very tasty and fine. The staff is very friendly, attentive and premature. Chapeau for Philippe. He is an organizational talent. We're happy to come back as a couple or with a group or for a special celebration. Thank you very much again for everything

The property is as it is represented. Beautiful colors and architecture and is pristine. The staff is more impressive, which in my book is far more important. The check-in process was a little frustrating because I was cranky. The man who checked me in was unendingly patient, welcoming, friendly, and professional. He made sure I understood everything about the property and security. Quite a feat, as he speaks Arabic and French and and I do not. He gave me a tour of everything. The process for meals is lovely. This is a bed and breakfast, so an elaborate tasty breakfast is available until 1000. To eat breakfast, you let the chef know by 1600. He goes to the central market to purchase what's fresh. My dinner was delicious. The aroma wafted up to my room and brought me down to the dining area a little early. The wait staff is first rate, had perfect English, and was delightful. Know that it's a 2-3 block walk from parking areas to the property. It's an easy stroke, but something to know.

We came to the hotel with more than 10 people. The welcome is great. People are smiling and say yes to everything without sometimes even understanding. We arrived at 7:30 p.m. and our room was half done. We couldn't shower because the towels hadn't been provided. The lady in the hallway refused to give them to us. She preferred to chat on WhatsApp. Rooms never ready before 4-5 p.m. Imagine when you've been away all day and you just want to take a shower but you can't because your room isn't ready. The aesthetic department downstairs should be avoided. I did my treatments in the hall and since the beautician was taking a long time (a taxi was waiting for her 1 hour later) I did not get my entire service but I had to pay the ENTIRETY. In short, I give it a 5/10 because the place is nice and quiet. The service needs to be seriously reviewed.
