Garden House Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I were celebrating our 32nd anniversary. Our stay was phenomenal. Our hosts were very friendly and we felt right at home. Our room was immaculate. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom had everything we needed for our stay. Our breakfast on both mornings was quite delicious. You would never know others were also staying at the bed and breakfast as it was so quiet. The porch is quite comfortable to sit on and relax a bit. We would definitely recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

We needed a halfway point and Hannibal MO was it. Deciding to make it an adventure, we chose a cute little B&B named The Belvedere Inn. While the idea of B&Bs terrify an introvert like me, we figured why not truly make it an adventure. What a great choice! From the moment she opened the door, we felt like family. The history, the humor, and the comfortable rooms made this an incredible experience. And... Don't get me started on the breakfast. O.M.G! This is definitely a new favorite stop.

We have stayed at other B&B's in Hannibal and this is the BEST we have had! Owners are friendly and give great tips on where to eat and things to do. Food was delicious and plenty of it. Bed was comfortable with plenty of pillows and towels for a three nights stay. And who can forget Gus and Gomer the mascots of the place! Sweetest puppies ever! We will be coming back!!

My husband and I had a lovely overnight stay at the Belvedere Inn recently and stayed in the Belvedere Suite. WOW! The bedroom, located at the top of the house, has 360 degrees view, extremely comfortable cozy bed with a separate sitting area and bath. Definitely worth the price and exactly as advertised. The entire Inn is beautifully decorated and very welcoming. Pat & Bob are great hosts serving delicious food. In a great location to explore the quaint town of Hannible.

This was about my 10th visit to the Garden House. I absolutely adore it and I consider Chris, the owner, to be a friend. I really enjoy the atmosphere and bohemian and eclectic decor. Chris is an excellent host and cook, so breakfasts are to die for. I am a cat lover and the indoor cats are quite amusing and sometimes sleep with me. The restaurant a block down the street called La Binnah Bistro is perhaps the best place I have ever eaten and I have never had a dish that was not extremely tasty and excellent. I actually make a longer trip to my travelling destination to enjoy both the b and b and the restaurant. I really can’t sing the praises loud enough!

This is the place to stay in Hannibal! We had a great experience at the Belvedere, a beautifully restored, wonderfully decorated, and immaculately clean B&B conveniently located close to the center of town (but far enough off the main roads to be peaceful and quiet). We had to make some last-minute schedule changes to our booking, and Pat was incredibly accommodating and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and healthy, and the relaxed environment was a wonderful oasis in an otherwise busy trip. Our only regret is that we didn't have more free time to spend here. Highly recommend, would stay at the Belvedere again.

I highly recommend the Belvedere Inn. We got the Jenny Salli combo next door at the Scoundrels Inn. It was absolutely beautiful. I loved the bathroom and the bed was a kingsize bed and was cozy and comfortable. Our 12 yr old granddaughter came with us and she loved the Salli room. Pat the inn keeper made our granddaughter her own special breakfast. The sitting area outside the rooms had 2 large couches and a chair and tv. We were able to sit and visit with the other couple we came with and watched a movie on Netflix. I highly recommend this place and would definitely come back.

This B&B is absolutely wonderful—-it is cozy, inviting and really comfortable. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Host was entertaining and charming! Great location. Easy walk into town. This place is a jewel!

From the minute we saw the pictures of the Belvedere Inn in Hannibal we knew we wanted to stay there. From the beginning Pat was more than helpful! We stayed in the Alfred Lamb room — spacious, comfortable, wonderful bathroom and big shower! Pat is the perfect hostess — a wealth of knowledge of the area with great recommendations. Warm, lovely conversation at breakfast! Speaking of breakfast — breakfast was delicious — beautiful table, warm company, sweet and savory food. We felt cared for in this beautiful Bed and Breakfast!
