The Ibis standard of quality. The service was a little below, because it is quite moved, which makes the attendants' life difficult. The bed was also bad. The positive point for the location, great, in the most slightly rough neighborhood of the city. Near the center, but also near the attractions of El Poblado, district with restaurants, bars etc. very safe region.

Three men walked into my room during my stay unannounced while two of my roommates were undressed and hotel management won’t do anything about it!! I rented 9 hotel rooms and a conference room at Hotel Dorado for 30 leaders of my nonprofit org for 4 days. On day 2 of our stay a mysterious man bolted into our room unannounced and saw my roommate completely undressed. Why would someone outside of our party could have access to our room!? We went to hotel managers Joanna and Marco and they won’t do a single thing about it. They tell us it is not a big deal just “a matter of perspective”. Shortly after reporting this, Marco charged into our room with another man behind him completely unannounced, didn’t knock, just opened the door while yet ANOTHER girl was undressing and would not leave the room claiming he is trying to “fix the problem”. Marco and Joanna need to be fired! At this point all the girls in my organization were scared, some were crying, we all felt completely UNSAFE. The management was harassing us. They have camera’s on every floor and when we asked they claim there is no footage of these events (how convenient!!!) so now we are filing suit against them so they can release the footage to us. On top of all of this mental &emotional trauma my girls went through,I spent over $3,000 for hotel rooms, conference room, and hotel catering and the hotel won’t refund us for the services and rooms we didn’t use after the incidents.This would be THE VERY LEAST they can do.

We would have rated this hotel at 5* but a checking out issue spoilt the whole stay for us! Yes the room needed a little attention - the shower nozzle hung down out of the ceiling, the shower handle came off the temperature regulator every time you adjusted it, the toilet seat kept falling down & had to be held up for me (male!),, the toilet itself was not fixed equi distant in the space between the shower screen & the wall & made sitting on it uncomfortable as you would then be squashed ........but none of these were major & would not have impacted our stay very seriously. We enjoyed the breakfast & the staff, generally were very good & helpful Upon checking out, we left a 50,000 COP tip. Then, On getting into our taxi, we were called back to be told we needed to pay 50,000 COP for a ”broken door key card”. The previous evening the door card did not work & it was replaced with nothing at that time being said. Now apparently we had ”damaged” it I refused to pay & said if they wanted the money to take it from the 50,000 COP tip I have stayed in hundreds of hotels using electronic key cards & if they ever had a problem, they were reprogrammed or replaced without issue Never have I encountered this situation before & I was annoyed & very disappointed that after a great stay, this was how it ended. As I said, this would probably have been a 5* review.....

Excellent experience Excellent location near the Airport. We arrived late by the time we cleared customs picked our bags it was close to 2am. Sadly i couldn't find the number for the hotel to call for the shuttle, we took a taxi and it charged $60,000 pesos that's like $13.dollars. the Beds are very comfortable we had a suite. The rooms are spacious and the AC works well. Breakfast was really good with a great variety. Definitely recommend this place.

Room facilities are good. Cost-effective service apartment. Sound insulation is slightly worse. The place is a bit difficult to find, every time the taxi driver will miss the intersection. But walking to the mall is not far away.

I choose this property base on the hotel website and few reviews online. 5 Starts hotel mean an extraordinary service, customer service, and above and beyond customer service. My room was 1306 very small room, basic room, not welcome amenities (water batle or any sweets as other 5 start hotels does. The towels are absolutely inappropriate like old and stained towels, some with the bed sheets. The chairs were not in good shape and dirty. The chais were not dirty but they look old and weathered. Breakfast was delicious, local food, and several choices to eat, continental & American breakfast style available. The portion are extremely small micro-bread , so you have to put in your plate may pieces because they are too small. Poor customer service and most the employees feels like empowered just because they work at the hotel. Except few people. Upon my arrival not courtesy at all, no water bottle complementary so comparing with the holiday Inn Express & Suites located one block down that goes above & beyond to make us feel welcome at the hotel. For the price I paid it is not make sense to spent large amount of money for. Very poor service. The Hotel Bellman (April 2) in the morning. It is a new hotel ( supposedly 5 stars), but... Basic things like bathroom light, which is a very modern command (the lights are all with a command that varies intensity etc... but many have already deleted the letters that indicate their function) are not working. We changed our room.. in this room the opening of a top box did not work ( completely necessary because we travel for a long time and we have baggage 🧳🧳) We had breakfast included but because of the different tours we could only have breakfast on the first day.. and they told us they didn't prepare to take. If we added there was no refrigerator, nor to prepare coffee or tea in the room.. very disappointing I had to ask for a shower kit as it is rain ...(They seemed rare 🤦🏼) also a glass 🥛 I asked for the bath and .... never arrived There are no windows to ventilate.. from the hall comes a lot of food to the entrance of the room and there is noise for the nights of the bars next to and from the road. I think they have to improve much customer care and provide minimum services for a category not already 5 but even 3 stars.. ( the strong boxes told us they were not yet in operation. The room did not make it to us.. one day, not the reason I would never recommend it The only good bed that was very comfortable.

I and my husband travel to work. clean and large, well comfortable room. Coffee has few options. I felt disturbed about tolerance , I'm always pointful in terms of schedules and rules, it's good to be careful about the Check out schedule. We left in the morning and when we returned to the hotel we delayed 15 minutes because we took a journey, as soon as we walked to the hotel we were already informed that we had passed the time. We stayed in the 7th floor, it didn't give 2 minutes to get into the room to the receptionist warning that after the time would be charged. We went up to pick up the bags. Moreover, a hotel that if I need to go to Colombia would be staying for location and cleaning.
