pple Premier Suites Melaka Review
I recently stayed at the Apple Premier Suites Melaka, and while there were certainly some positives, there were a few aspects that detracted from the overall experience. The hotel is located in a convenient part of Melaka, offering easy access to many local attractions. The room itself was spacious and well-designed, with modern décor and amenities.
However, I must mention a couple of concerns regarding the bathroom setup. The bath tub is situated in the middle of the room, which I found to be a somewhat unusual layout. This may not be ideal for those who prefer more privacy. Additionally, there was an unpleasant smell coming from the bath tub area during my stay, which affected the overall comfort level.
On a positive note, the hotel provides SK-Magic water dispenser machines in the units, which is a superb feature. It’s not only convenient, offering both hot and cold water instantly, but also eco-friendly, as it helps reduce the need for plastic water bottles. From what I observed, it seems that all units with the bath tub in the center come equipped with the SK-Magic water dispenser, adding a nice touch of convenience.
While these issues may not be a dealbreaker for everyone, they are certainly worth considering before booking. Hopefully, the hotel can address these concerns, as the overall potential of the property is promising.

It was a pleasant experience. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth. True to their name, the Perfect Host staff guided us to our room and demonstrated how to use the digital door lock. He's really kind.
The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with a hairdryer, iron, fresh mattress, and towels, and the shower gel smells nice. However, it would be nice if they provided shower cap. (You can roll down/up the curtain of the shower area, as the wall of shower area linked to bedroom is made of glass)
Convenience is a big plus, with a mamak and nasi ayam restaurant (鸡粒饭)just downstairs (it's lucky for us to see one of the beautiful MYfm DJ having her foodie program if not mistaken taken during breakfast at the restaurant). Several malls, including Mahkota Parade, Dataran Pahlawan Megamall, and Hatten Square, are within walking distance. You can easily grab a ride to Jonker Street at night or simply enjoy a 15-min walk from the hotel.
The area is breezy in the evenings, and there are a few massage centers nearby. The highlight of my stay was the rooftop swimming pool – with the nice view, I really enjoyed it. Overall I had a great time, and would recommend this hotel to everyone for a staycation.

Saw many recent comments that described the negative parts, so I was a bit hesitant to book at first. But I went ahead because it was the cheapest (26-27 Nov 2021) and it’s not located among the busiest parts of town. I came with my wife and two children – aged 9 and 4. Through Agoda (listed in TripAdvisor, obviously pfftt), I got the Superior Triple Room which had with it: - 1 king bed - 1 single bed - 1 sofa large / long enough for an adult person to sleep on. - free buffet breakfast for 3 pax All these + taxes + surcharges + fees on the end-of-Nov weekend = RM 292. RM 292!!! --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please refer to my pictures for the descriptions below; --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Room --------- - it was clean; towels, mattresses, pillows, etc. all smelled nice too - TV worked fine – some free TV channels + radios; two USB ports can be used, no HDMI ports - aircond was good; its remote worked fine as well - shower was great; it was easy to adjust heat and cold shower - water pressure was strong; flush and bidet were in good conditions - balcony was windy and the river view was calming; the grill’s height was higher than standard, I’m 175cm and its top was above my navel. So, I think it’s quite safe even for children to lounge around for a few seconds - nighttime was quiet; we went to bed around 11.45 pm and there was nothing (happening) downstairs - toiletries and basic tea-coffee sets were aplenty; got clothing iron sans the board Hotel -------- - indoor pool was just down the hall; we went into the pool room didn’t take a dip, the size was decent for an indoor pool - all three lifts were operational and fast; even with the traffic of weekend tourists, we never had to wait for more than a minute - check-in process took roughly 3 minutes; check-out was less than 15 seconds - all the staffs were pleasant and helpful, no matter where I came across them - the single-entrance basement parking was free of charge and bright enough even at night with security guards; there were hundreds of parking bays, so no fuss about fighting for one - I don’t think it’s THAT far from the town because you just literally have to cross the bridge and you’re there. I timed it; it took me a whole 8 minutes from Riviera’s basement parking to reach Dataran Pahlawan / Imperial Heritage. If that’s far, just book Hatten then and Bob’s your uncle =) Restaurant --------------- - buffet breakfast was more than enough for RM15/pax (not that I had to pay for my son coz he’s 4 years old); many of the typical Malaysian heavy breakfast choices were there, like nasi lemak, fried kuétiau, fried noodles, fried mihun, white bread, and porridge + boiled eggs, hotdogs, condiments, etc. - food counters were easily accessible; tables are minimal inside the restaurant but there were a lot more outside (for both covered and open-air areas) - cutlery was clean

Where do I begin with this hotel…?! Booked for 3 nights via Expedia because the hotel’s reservation page kept declining my credit card but still charging it - will sort this out later. Check-in: was told I had to pay a RM50 deposit in cash when I checked in. My hotel was prepaid online but I have no issue with the deposit, except they wouldn’t take credit cards for the deposit as they apparently cannot issue deposit refunds via credit card. I guess they haven’t learned about placing authorizations on cards and reversing the charges. They have Touch n’Go e-wallet stickers at reception but also wouldn’t allow me to pay the deposit via TnG. Fortunately I had some cash on me or I would have had to go find an ATM to withdraw money. Arguing with the receptionist is pointless since they’re merely enforcing stupid and nonsensical policies by management. Room: basic but acceptable. The remote controls for the air conditioning and tv were given at check-in. I guess the management is highly suspicious of guests and will not leave them in the room. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best and water pressure so-so. TV channels have zero channels in English. Guess English-speakers aren’t their intended clientele. Housekeeping does not automatically make up rooms. I was out the whole day and when I came back around 645pm, realised that the room was not made up. By then I had decided to move hotels and forego remaining 2 nights after the first night. At checkout when I told the receptionist about the unmade room, I was told that I had to call housekeeping to clean the room. What kind of half-baked, cheapskate dump has such a ridiculous policy!? I was told that apparently some guests don’t allow housekeeping in and so they just decided to not clean until asked. Amazingly every other respectable hotel in the world has a better solution to this - come back later!! Funnily this ridiculous policy is also not communicated at check-in. I didn’t expect an offer of refund for checking out early. Any hotel whose management is such a skinflint that they wouldn’t even provide daily housekeeping or keep the remotes in the room can hardly be expected to engage in customer service. Oh as a bonus, I saw an ironing board in the corridor. They wouldn’t provide ironing boards in the room of course. The pictures say more than I can. Verdict: never coming back here again if I can help it. Overpriced and does not deserve 3 star rating.

The apartment is very clean. For a family with a two-year-old child, I feel that the following equipment provided by the landlord is very helpful.
1. Children's dining chair for feeding
2. Baby bathtub and low stool for bathing
3. Safe low wooden mattress
The landlord responded quickly and the room was fully equipped. The downside is that the children's dining chair and bathtub need to be reserved, and I am a little worried that they will not be available.

Enjoy the luxurious ambiance of a classic, comfortable, and immaculate setting, enhanced by the attentive care of the hospitable staff. The breakfast is superb, offering a delightful start to your day. Located in a strategic, yet private and peaceful spot, it is an ideal retreat. Highly recommended for those seeking a premium experience. 5 stars! Kudos to Staff Greg!
GGuest UserThe hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.
MMuhammad Irsyad Bin ZainiI recently had the pleasure of staying at OYO 90899 Tube Hotel Melaka and the experience surpassed all expectations. From the moment I stepped through the grand entrance, I was greeted with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that set the tone for a truly memorable stay.
The check-in process was seamless, with the staff demonstrating exceptional hospitality and efficiency. The attention to detail throughout the hotel was evident, from the elegant lobby adorned with tasteful decorations to the well-appointed rooms that exuded both comfort and style.
Speaking of rooms, mine was a haven of tranquility. The furnishings were modern and plush, creating a cozy ambiance that made it difficult to leave. The bed was a highlight, offering a heavenly night's sleep with its luxurious linens and a selection of pillows that catered to personal preferences.
The hotel's amenities were equally impressive. The fitness center boasted state-of-the-art equipment, and the spa provided a rejuvenating escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop pool, offering breathtaking views of the city skyline. It was the perfect spot to unwind and soak up the sun.
Dining was a culinary delight. The on-site restaurant showcased a diverse menu featuring both local and international cuisine. The chefs' commitment to using fresh, high-quality ingredients was evident in every dish. The breakfast buffet was a standout, offering a wide array of options to suit every palate.
The service was impeccable, with the staff going above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. Requests were handled promptly and with a genuine smile, adding a personal touch that made me feel like a valued guest.
The location of the hotel was also ideal, situated in close proximity to popular attractions, dining options, and shopping districts. Whether I was exploring the city or simply strolling through the nearby parks, everything was conveniently within reach.
In conclusion, my stay at [Hotel Name] was nothing short of exceptional. The combination of luxurious accommodations, top-notch amenities, and outstanding service created a truly memorable experience. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a refined and indulgent getaway. I look forward to returning to [Hotel Name] in the future for another unforgettable stay.
KKarolineHI feel scammed on my first ever visit to this country. My room was run down, quite old, a bit yucky and dirty. Stains everywhere incl on the bedsheets! See attached pics for details. The furniture, curtains and windows were disgusting and it smelled mouldy.
WiFi barely worked during the 5 nights I was there. Had to constantly reconnect. Had to escape to Starbucks opposite to be able to work.
Mattress totally sunken, never seen anything like it in any hotel. Felt completely groggy and suffered from back pain during the entirety of my trip. This was definitely a first. The sheets were stained as well.
Lobby all shiny and glitzy and clean, the place was busy and staff very friendly holding doors. Felt like a 4 star hotel when you enter but definitely a 0 star for the rooms!
GGuest UserIt’s very clean and tidy room, the space is very spacious for families. They provided the baby cot if you needed. The location wise is very convenient. Overall everything are good
Ccooldoc1971I spent a night here after my talk in a nearby hospital. It is located at the business area of Ayer Keroh, which on the contrary, is not very busy. As it is one of the tallest building around, finding the hotel is not difficult. As the title suggest, it is a basic no frills hotel. The lobby is small and well lit. The room is clean and functional. It was well worth for the price. The issue is since it is fairly cheap, the hotel seems to be choice of the rowdy Mainland Chinese tourists. The breakfast was where they displayed their disorderliness.
SShawnNgHotel is well located however the parking is a bit far.
Room is perfect with proper toilet items.
Pretty love the long walkway in the hotel. Free parking, just remember to give ur touch and go to lobby before check out
CConnoisseur2012The hotel is across the road from the beach and the Melaka Straits. Whilst not recently refurbished the family room we were allocated was in reasonable condition and clean. The room was not carpeted but this possibly made it easier to keep clean. We arrived late in the evening but even at this time the staff were friendly and efficient. The only issue we had was the whilst breakfast was included in the price, we booked a room for two adults and two children and ended up having to pay an additional sum for two more breakfasts.
