Check-in took two minutes, the receptionist was very professional. We got the key and clear instructions to our room, and the wifi password.
The room was functional, but good enough for the purposes. The bed was large enough and comfortable. The room's windows faced the water, and we enjoyed seeing the ferry from the balcony when we opened the window. The room also had a working desk which was good, as we needed space to do some computer work.
The bathroom amenities were ample, and we had plenty of fresh linen.
Breakfast the next morning was a HUGE spread. Among all the hotels we stayed in Sicily, this one had the most food on offer. The waiter at the coffee station was commendable - we ordered a hot chocolate and the effort he put into making the perfect cup just made our day.
I want to make a special mention to the lady at reception. I left my passport in the room after we checked out, and didn't realise it until over an hour later. I rang in a state of panic and she calmly reassured me that they had found it and she was holding on to it for me. Despite the slight language barrier, she communicated compassion perfectly. When I reached the hotel, she handed it over with the kindest smile, and that immediately dialled down my stress levels.
5/5 is not high enough for the service rating of this place, I would give them 10/5 if I could. And the lady at the front desk needs a promotion.

Mi reserva era para dos personas y me dieron habitación individual . Sugerí que me dieran la habitación doble que figuraba en mi reserva y me dijeron que estaríamos cómodos en ella porque la cama era grande. Cierto. La cama estaba bien y lo aceptamos, pero un hotel tiene que asumir su error y por encima de todo , dar un buen trato a los clientes. Faltó ese ofrecimiento de cambio de habitación, aunque hubiéramos aceptado la que teníamos.
Otra cosa son las instalaciones. Son antiguas . Suelo enmoquetado muy sucio y otras carencias que un hotel de esta categoría no debería tener.
Lo mismo sucede con el desayuno. Deficiente total. Sin comida caliente, sin fruta y para beber solamente agua. Pudimos elegir solo entre algunos dulces y algunas tarrinas de mermelada y mantequilla
No puedo recomendar a nadie este hotel
Espero que todo este tiempo que he dedicado sirva para que tomen nota y los clientes reciban un mejor servicio

Hotel della città che fa il suo dovere. Un buon rapporto qualità prezzo riesce a farti alloggiare in una stanza che comprende gli optional essenziali di un albergo a 4 stelle. Struttura vintage spesso scelta per convegni e gite di gruppo da parte di turisti legati a visite guidate della città. Colazione nella norma come i prezzi dei servizi offerti. Se non si è’ alla ricerca del lusso ma di un posto semplice in cui dormire, questo HOTEL È’ UNA VALIDA SCELTA.

Pessimo moquette in stanza usurrata e piena di macchie. Stanze per niente insonorizzate. Personale poco cordiale. Non lo consiglio. Bar del Hotel dopo cena non dava da bere niente. Alla richiesta di un uovo a colazione risposta sono terminati. Dalla porta in cucina si vedeva una ciotola piena die uova. Mi sono sentita presa in giro.

Hotel anni 70, anche l'arredamento è quello di allora. Posizione buona per lavorare vicino al palazzetto ma lontano dal centro e in una zona industriale e decadente. Sono rimasto 3gg per lavoro, specifico che giro per gli hotel di tutta Italia ma in questo non mi sono trovato affatto bene. Appena arrivato ho chiesto di pulire il bagno perché puzzava in modo imbarazzante. La colazione ha prodotti di bassa qualità, muffin vecchi, appena scoccano le 9,30 tolgono tutto e chiudono la sala. La nota dolente per me é il ristorante a menù fisso, una sola qualità di vino (scadente) un risotto pessimo e un insalata a 25€. Quando ho fatto presente di non essermi affatto trovato bene al ricevimento mi è stato risposto "e quindi?...", "È una questione di gusti" ... Spero di non tornare...

Si dovrebbe rimodernare.. sembra un hotel a 4 stelle ma purtroppo di 4 non ha niente… le tovaglie venivano cambiate sempre.. purtroppo abbiamo avuto problemi nella divisione della stanza, abbiamo provato ad andare incontro al personale ma alla fine dei conti sempre sbagliato era… siete in un bel punti turistico è veramente un peccato!

Per chi è di passo, è strategico, poco fuori dal caos...personale molto cortese alla reception. posto parcheggio gratuito...unico neo il letto pendeva a destra ho dormito in pendenza, bagno un po vecchio con vasca. DISPONE anche di un ristorante di cui non ho usufruito ...

I servizi offerti non sono da 4 stelle. Non rispondono al telefono nonostante siano liberi e si attiva la segreteria interminabile. Ascensore guasto e non revisionato da anni. Per aprire la porta di camera bisogna spingere con forza. Copriletto bucato. Al ristorante ci sono moscerini ovunque. I camerieri molto efficienti. Pessima gestione ed attenzione al cliente.

Abbiamo soggiornato in questo hotel un week end a novembre e per la nostra esigenza di un b&b andava più che bene.Il personale cortese,un comodo parcheggio gratuito,buona colazione e comoda posizione vicino a Messina e a parecchi centri commerciali.Lo consiglio anche per il prezzo molto contenuto.
