Discription and photos are very deceptive and misleading and I would rather say dishonest. Very dated place rooms are tetty and poor decor. Describe as entire Unit but I'm reality they only have rooms, but some how they manage to advertise it as an entire unite and give fals impression. I check in and checked out with in 5 minutes and since chasing them for refund

I love the Tropics for the relaxed atmosphere and for the beautiful hotel cats that are treated as a precious and valuable asset. I have friends staying over repeatedly and it is so amazing to Just chill by the pool with Mishues and Lola, that makes the hotel stand out and that’s the reason why we keep booking and recommending it !!!

Like many hotels in Miami this one is in dire need of refurbishment. The rooms are very basic without even a shelf in the bathroom for toiletries. Most disturbing (literally) was how thin the walls seem to be as were heard chatting and banging almost constantly until after 2am. All that said the staff are friendly and helpful allowing us to check in 2 hours early and also happily storing our luggage as we needed it. The reception area is comfortable with good internet provided. In terms of location this is a short walk to the beach and local shopping.

The staff here were incredibly nice and caring. I had to call hotel few times before my trip and they were all courteous and respectful. The pool area is nice to sit out in amd comfortable chairs. The hotel foes not provide beach towels , shampoo, lotion or conditioner ..just small soap so bri.f your own or go Walgreens or CVS walking distance from there and you can buy some. There are washer and dryers in the hotel as well. Hotel is in a great location. My only complaint was when we first checked into room 303 it was filled with roaches..it was the room facing Loews Hotel. The staff was great in moving us to room facing the pool which was great no roaches. Also if you have bad claustrophobia like I do .. do not ride the elevator. I did once and thought I was stuck I'm there as it was incredibly slow. If you have no problems with that then you are fine. There is a great place for breakfast called FL Cafe going down the street south direction. Would definitely stay there again for a good economical deal. Thank-you to great staff again they were the nicest people.

My name is Cierra and the service as well as the room has been absolutely horrible. upon checking in ,the beds were still dirty and slept in I had to call the front desk to come and clean off the bed that was disgusting they left without bringing any new sheets or new blanket which is further unprofessional and disgusting the bathroom was disgusting and I had to purchase my own cleaning products in order to be able to use it after checking in. None of the outlets will work In the room except for the one in the bathroom and there’s no way to charge my phone ,the lights are flickering as well . The front desk agent luiz just came into the room without knocking several times I was in th middle of dressing one of the times that he came into the all female dorm. I don’t feel comfortable with a male having access, walking in whenever he feels like. He also realized that he miss charged us for the stay because he was unattentive and waited 7 hours to tell us -and wants us to pay extra for his mistake so he dosnt get in trouble. I told him no and that’s ridiculous why should we have to pay extra money already paid and checked in and both received keys that’s not a proper his mistake and I’m already waiting to speak to the manager for a discount refund or a new room so there’s no way I would be paying more money at this point. he kept coming back in the room and was harassing me I need to walk to the bathroom to pay him more money fire his mistake .overall the hotel is a mess and we need to be moved to a private room Or refunded I feel uncomfortable a d harassed and I will be reporting this to every single page I possibly can if this is not rectified immediately

Hello, I leave my experience of the place! We arrived on July 1st, the location is good, and since everything seemed ok we decided to pay for the full month! ♀️ The first 4 DAYS EVERYTHING OK! From then on the problems began, we spent two weeks WITHOUT HOT WATER, WITHOUT KITCHEN, OR DRYER, they literally had the gas turned off, every day we asked when the services would work again and they told us the same thing; tomorrow tomorrow tomorrow! I don't even want to ask anymore! WHAT I DO NOT UNDERSTAND HOW A HOTEL CAN CONTINUE RECEIVING PEOPLE AND WITHOUT GIVING ANSWERS TO THE GUESTS WHO WERE ALREADY THERE, LIKE THEY DO SO THEY DO NOT EVEN WANT TO PROVIDE YOU WITH HOT WATER, THE BASIC AND ESSENTIAL THINGS FOR EVERYTHING! We had to buy an electric stove. After all this, we decided to leave the place, leaving 10 days unoccupied! We talked to the manager that day and asked her!! How could we make what options they gave us knowing that they would not want to return the money for those 10 days! To which they replied that we could leave those 10 days to whoever we wanted with all the corresponding data; first name, last name, number, etc! The next day we left and left a person we met staying in the same hotel, which the manager of that day, GIOIA OR WHATEVER HER HER NAME, MADE US THROUGH THE WORST **** SITUATION... And the experience we had in that hotel, telling us no That could be done when they themselves gave it to us, obviously I complained, I got angry, and I asked for the place's complaints book and to show me what the place's regulations were (he responded that he had them on the computer), denying me a right like consumerist, as a guest as a tourist, I really don't know how these people earn their position, did they threaten me with the POLICE, ma'am, please? I'm complaining with rights, these people want tourists to be ****** or what? She suggested that we take the data and leave the 10 days free for them to RENT THE ROOM AGAIN and on the 31st, at the end of the month, she promised to call us and give us a refund for the days they supposedly rented! I went to the page for 10 days and everything was busy, we left the Netflix account open and another account was added to us by the person they rented it from. Since the 1st I have been calling them and no one shows their face, obviously on the 31st no one showed up! But I ask the Owners of the place! Who is responsible when there are these problems or any other? Because the first time I call and the people who answer the phone like Antonela, Johnatan, etc. who are the ones who speak Spanish, they wash their hands obviously they are employees but at least they train people to solve problems since their response is that The manager is never there, everything is very strange. We were not there for almost a month and they were there from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Now there is never anyone?? The level of character is very high! To this day no one gives me a solution, the owners are not responsible for the staff either.

No matter how cheap a hotel is, there are things that are non-negotiable, I only detail them to be clear: - people from outside come in to smoke ********* in the pool - one smoked person started charging another, they started to They shout at each other and they almost come to blows in the pool and no one from the hotel intervenes - the room windows do not open - the bathrooms do not have ventilation nor do the windows open - the carpets date back 20 years (or more) - the mattresses are a rock - there is a smell of ********* 24/7, it is permanent, literally - the wifi cuts off all the time IT IS A TOTAL DISASTER

Hotel very well located, in the heart of Miami Beach, across the street is the beach. As for the hotel, the receptionist who was there in the morning was very friendly and cordial, her attention was very good. The hotel has a swimming pool in the back, kitchen and refrigerator. As for the room, shower with plenty of hot water, comfortable bed. It has a safe in the room.

The mattresses are uncomfortable, the windows do not open, the bathroom windows cannot be kept open because they fall out by themselves, for cooking there are 8 burners (gas) of which 1 does not work, 5 work very badly and only 2 work. There were no forks in the kitchen, only knives and spoons. The kitchen is full of ants. A BAD DEATH MOTEL
