Net buiten het dorpje Mieres moet je linksaf een pad in slaan en je rijdt een oase van rust en Catalaanse sfeer binnen. De gastvrouw kwam meteen uit het restaurant om ons welkom te heten. We parkeerden de auto, dronken wat en begaven ons naar onze ruime kamer met schaduwrijk terras. Vanaf dat moment tot het moment dat we weer verder trokken, was het een groot feest. Nuria en Jordy doen alles, maar dan ook echt alles, wat ze kunnen om het je naar je zin te maken. Hun ontbijten zijn heerlijk, hun diners fantastisch. Absolute topkwaliteit. We hebben heel erg genoten. Cal Carreter is een ideale uitvalsbasis als je wilt hardlopen, wandelen (mooi vulkanengebied), fietsen ATB en/of met de racefiets weg. Maar ook als je gewoon een boek wilt lezen. Wij waren er 11 dagen en die waren alle heerlijk. De omgeving is prachtig, met mooie dorpen als Santa Pau en Besalu. En ook de directe omgeving is schitterend. Je zit er echt aan de rand van het vulkanen gebied. Cal Carreter leent zich volgens ons ook goed voor een zakelijke bijeenkomst. De rust en charme vormen een prachtige decor om met een team na te kunnen denken over een nieuwe bedrijfsstrategie. Wil je onthaasten maar ook genieten van een fantastische cuisine, dan moet je hier echt naar toe. Wij hebben genoten en komen zeker nog eens terug.

Estuvimos en julio y ya estamos deseando volver! Cal Carreter es un sitio muy muy especial! Está muy bien cuidado... Hasta el mínimo detalle! Gracias a la pareja que lo gestiona nuestra estancia fue maravillosa! Nos cuidaron con mucho mimo. Las cenas y desayunos son espectaculares... Qué mano tiene Nuria! Y además con productos y comidas típicas de la zona. Además, viendo que llevábamos bicis, nos prepararon multitud de rutas por la zona, nos dejaron guías... estaban súper pendientes! Es que son súper majos!!!!

Estamos encantados con nuestra estancia en Cal Carreter, desde la atención recibida por Nuria y Jordi, hasta la tranquilidad del entorno y la inmejorable cocina que ofrecen en sus desayunos y cenas. Un ambiente relajante rodeados de naturaleza. Nos han recomendado rutas que hacer o que no hacer en mi estado, ya que estoy embarazada de 6 meses y no conocíamos los niveles de las excursiones a volcanes etc. Han cuidado el mínimo detalle, congelando 48h antes los embutidos para que pudiera desayunar sin que me faltase nada, cambiando postres inclusive adaptados a que los pudiera comer sin problema! Sin duda alguna repetiremos y ya lo hemos recomendado a nuestras familias y a nuestro entorno, estamos encantadísimos! Gràcies Nuria i Jordi!!
