After spending 2 night at the Hotel B&B Duomo City Center, I moved to the Hotel B&B Milan Centrale Station to be closer to an early train out to Malpensa. What a mistake! The former was a very nice and clean hotel and my room was quite pleasant. The latter was a complete disaster. If I was staying any longer than a quick overnight, I would have left immediately. The facility is completely beat up and my room was just plain awful. The walls were scuffed, ceiling water stained, curtain partially torn from the rod and the entry lights did not work. Worst of worsts, the drain was completely clogged so I showered in ankle deep water and had to continually turn the water off in hopes of avoiding a flood. That didn’t work. A five minute shower completely flooded the bathroom and was heading out into the hall. I raised my concerns to the front desk clerk who showed minimal concern. There was no manager on duty to escalate my issues. I don’t quite understand how the same hotel brand could have such different facilities only 2km apart but they do. I left the Duomo hotel with the B&B brand as a future and recommended stay. That hotel is worth it but I can no longer recommend Hotel B&B on the whole after my terrible experience at the Centrale location.
