"This is a very old-fashioned hotel, comparable to the Portman Hotel in Shanghai. The facilities are quite dated, but the breakfast is excellent, the bedding is comfortable, and the bathroom is beautiful! One flaw: the aromatherapy in the lobby is a bit overpowering. The room has no fragrance, just a slight carpet smell, which caused my husband to sneeze when we walked in. At night, a cricket chirped in the air conditioning duct. The hotel apologized, and we knew we couldn't catch it. Fortunately, the cricket was quite clever and stopped chirping whenever my husband spoke or stood up..."

On the other hand, the gym and spa is wonderful, hotel room is new, breakfast is decent and I would say the best iced Americano I have tasted during our entire stay in Italy. "During my 4 nights stay, I experienced several issues that significantly affected my comfort and overall experience: 1. The room had very poor soundproofing. There was constant noise from outside and neighboring rooms, making it difficult to rest. 2. There were frequent and unexpected knocks on my door at irregular times. Additionally, items were delivered without prior request or clear notice, which was both disruptive and concerning. 3. The dining experience was inconvenient, as guests were required to walk to the cashier to make payment instead of having a more standard and seamless billing arrangement. 4. The room lighting malfunctioned intermittently, with lights turning off suddenly without any apparent reason, causing inconvenience and discomfort. These issues are not in line with the standards I would expect from your hotel. I would never recommend anyone to stay here."
