Experience Design Bed&Show

The good: The location is very good, and the floor to ceiling blinds are excellent. The room was really dark, which was great for sleeping. The bad: Cristina was not there when we arrived, so she walked us through the lockbox to get our keys. We got in and got into our room... But the room didn't lock. We went out to grab food and had to leave our room unlocked (although the apartment as a whole does lock). When we got back, we messaged her to ask if there was something we weren't understanding. She kept insisting that the door does lock. Finally, we noticed our key ring - the keys in the lockbox she directed us to - were in fact for the only other room. We even checked, and yes, the key turned in the other lock. No one was there at the time, thank goodness, although clearly the room was occupied. So yes, she gave us the keys to someone else's room and then did not give us the correct keys to lock our own room. She again walked us through the lockboxes - this time sending us to the right one - but honestly the whole situation was bizarre. This feels like an enormous safety issue. I would also note this is much more like an Airbnb, for all that it's listed on hotel platforms.

Cristina was an excellent host. Made sure I had everything I needed; explained all the ins-and-outs. The room was gorgeous; amazing bedding, pillows, mattress. Slept so well! Ceiling to floor window came with an electronic shade that worked perfectly. Lovely toiletries. Lovely design sensibility throughout.
