Amazing location! Delicious food and the rooms are beautiful. What a trouvaille!! The terrace on the water invites you to have endless drinks. The service is top notch. We wanted to eat outside and that was arranged by the enthusiastic service team. RECOMMENDED!!

Had another wonderful weekend in De Bungelaer. Cozy a**osphere and service. Excellent cuisine, enjoyed the asparagus. There was a new menu with additional dishes to choose from every day. You feel seen as a guest! Terrace is nice but the weather did not cooperate. We'll be back with sun!

Beautiful location, we had high expectations but it was very disappointing. We agree with the previous review. Nice location but catering staff still have a lot to learn. Small example: serving over people, touching people without necessity, taking ice cubes out of the ice bucket with tongs and not with your hands. Formula for 3/4 courses unclear and extra costs on the bill later. not to be repeated

What a nice, beautiful and a**ospheric hotel! Lovely king size bed, fine linen. Bathroom with nice shower and equipped with tasty Kayori items. The restaurant is also great! Enjoyed a 4-course menu, combined with well-recommended wine. Every course was always a pleasure, the combination of ingredients, special and refined. Relaxed a**osphere in the restaurant. Pleasant, friendly staff.

I have now eaten at the Bungelaer 4 times since it opened, each time I thought, the teething problems will gradually be resolved, unfortunately, my experience was that it has only gotten worse, which is why I am now giving this review: go there no food, so much better to be found in the area (also in terms of view). The a**osphere was stressful, we were just seated and before the welcome or a menu, we were asked if we wanted oysters to start with. My brother-in-law offered a treat and asked politely whether we could get the menu and that we would like to order an aperitif first. The menu came with a lengthy explanation about the extras, the daily specials, and what the extra cost was in € - NO ONE remembers all those extra "prices". especially if you have not yet been able to view the menu, and indeed as from day 1, no prices for individual dishes so opted for the 3-course menu, which was VERY mediocre - zucchini soup very ordinary, small piece of sirloin REAR requested. was medium to well done, the same meager vegetables everywhere, house wine was "sold out", bizarre, a wine of ＞ € 43 was recommended instead, my sister and brother-in-law were asked each time if they wanted wine, although they mentioned it at the beginning had no alcohol to drink - What kind of business model has been devised here? and does whoever came up with this have any idea what hospitality stands for and how to deal with guests? By the way, Nothing of asparagus on the menu???? - 4 tables occupied on Friday evening??? - Weird, uninterested attitude of the waiting staff, all 4 of us noticed - the stress was palpable all evening, do the staff get whipped if they don't sell enough wine and expensive supplements?... 4 tips: Write the daily offer in chalk if necessary on a board - with prices, ensure a friendly a**osphere between staff and customers, do not turn the menu into a maze looking for prices and increase the quality of the food. Afterwards I apologized to my sister and brother-in-law for taking them to such an unpleasant and mediocre restaurant. I felt ashamed in your place.

Delicious food and fantastic friendly service by Sonja. She radiates pleasure in her work. The dishes were very tasty and the plates were beautifully presented. Before we sat at the table, we first sat on the terrace by the water. In short…. Recommended!

Good food but be careful with 'specials'. We ended up paying more than double without this being communicated in advance. If we had known this price (120 euros for a tomahawk) we would never have ordered it. Pity!!!! It was tasty but we really felt screwed

Dinner for 2 people, nice setting, friendly service. Small menu, but well varied dishes. What I found disadvantageous afterwards was that there were no prices on the menu. Then you don't know what you pay for, for example, just a main course. Now we were surprised by a hefty bill. Then you leave with a less pleasant feeling.
