Equo Hotel Boutique

Situated in a safe and accesible area of Miraflores close to the the beach, parks, larcomar, great restaurants. Good size room, sliding window for fresh air is really nice , front desk, breakfast staff and housekeeping works hard. Breakfast has good fruits, juices, coffee and different varieties of bread and pastry. It would be nice if refilled more frequent during serving time. Beautiful , roomy and functional bathroom but shower wall molds needs to be scrubbed.

Great little hotel with wonderful staff and a good breakfast buffet. Rooms are small, but clean and comfortable.

Front door locked at all times. Girl who worked at night remembered my name and greeted me every night when I returned. Breakfast had a decent variety. Overall, no concerns

Unfortunately this was our last stop of our trip, and was by far the nicest for the money,location of the 4 places we chose. If i had to do over id have spent a week here.

This small boutique hotel is an incredible value! Relatively new-ish, our room was very comfortable and efficiently designed. There is plenty of shelving space, a desk, and the bathroom was quite large with TWO sinks! We especially liked the fact that the window could be opened. The front desk personnel couldn't have been kinder and more helpful. My only criticism is the breakfast is not great, and not restocked well the last hour of the breakfast service. However, they were happy to provide the items that were missing--butter and jam--when we asked. Also, potable water is not provided so you have to buy your own. We moved to another hotel (joining a tour group) that was $100 a night MORE than this one, and the rooms were comparable in quality (the more expensive hotel had more amenities--pool, gym, restaurants, etc.)--but the bathroom wasn't as nice as Equo's!! The location is excellent--an upscale and safe neighborhood in Mira Flores, on a quiet street but very close to cafes and bars. I highly recommend this hotel!

This is a very nice hotel for the price. In a really good area, I will definitely stay there again.

Pro: staff was very kind and cordial. Area in Miraflores was safe and walkable to key attractions- Kennedy park, malecón, etc. room was good size, clean. They have AC/heater. Had mini fridge. Quick check in and check out. Cons: we arrived about 1:30PM, check in is 3PM and they wouldn’t let us check in early despite room being ready and despite it being an option on their policies for a $25 fee. The room was extremely humid. Even with AC/heater on, nothing helped. When we got into our room, the windows were open, no screen, just open to the outside. It was weird since it was open to a roof of a neighboring building, and made the room feel very damp. Safe didn’t work, was locked shut. Whenever someone opens/closes a door in the hall, it rattled our door very loudly. Sounded like someone was trying to go into the room. We were in the 2nd floor and could hear EVERYTHING happening in the kitchen below and people walking up/down the hall, doors opening/closing. It was hard to sleep with all the noise. Water never got hot but was warm enough.
