Great location I enjoy the bed very comfortable and clean rooms but sorry to say but this is another hotel thats not family friendly

I have stayed many places and this was by far the absolute WORST place. The service was shitty but with a smile. They completely blew me off and ignored my requests and concerns. The room we got was nowhere near the same as the room we booked and on top of that..... The train, that goes by every 10 minutes and has to blow ots.horn because of the road crossing, was practically INSIDE our room!!! I have never heard a train so loud in my life. Unbelievable. They refused to change our room and stated that the room type we booked through trip.com doesnt exist, Even though the maid showed it to me and gave me a walk through. I told her At the very least could they move out room to a different location that wasnt on the end where the train was. She said "oh sorry, unfortunately the hotel was built around the train station. Nothing we can do now." Ummmmm yeah you can! Move my room. Anyways... horrible place.

Facilities: complete facilities, everything you should have in a hotel, refrigerator, coffee machine, big room, especially big bathroom

Great hotel centered in downtown Modesto, California. Clean and with an open lobby. Requested highest-level room available, which turned out to be the 10th floor. Great view for the downtown and lights. The hotel restaurant has an excellent menu and the food was delicious. You can enjoy your meal in the cocktail lounge, dining room, to-go, or have it sent via room service. Prompt attention given to any room discomforts. Daily refresh room service. The room has standard amenities which included small refrigerator, coffee maker and condiments, safe, iron and ironing board, hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion, extra toilet paper and towels, a full-length mirror, office table, television and 4 pillows per bed. The beds were queen size, firm and comfortable. The lighting for the room was soft but could be brighter as you like. Overall, It was a great get away with the downtown life just across the street. Restaurants, movie theater, music and coffee.

The hotel messed up my reservation twice but the staff was EXTREMELY rude and impatient and didn't listen to me or want to help. I asked to speak to the manager but they shrugged it off saying "I don't know when they'll be here." Besides the front desk staff, other staff I encountered too were rude. The only welcoming people were the valet employees out front.
There was very loud noise from one of the rooms next to mine until 5am and either the staff didn't do anything about it, or they asked them to be quiet but then didn't check on them. The trains near the hotel are super loud too. My sleep was so disturbed.
The room was dirty, including the mini fridge. It wasn't cooling and made my containers moldy. Half the outlets in the room didn't work and the phone didn't work either so I was unable to call for room service.
There was a large hole in the window and the carpet surrounding it was moist and moldy!!!
The ONLY redeeming quality is that the room was big and the bed was comfortable.
Stay away from this hotel at all costs.

The hotel was amazing they even upgraded our room due to an issue with the checkin.
For some reason the hotel had my reservation as cancelled.
Not sure where the mixup was, I have never had an issue using the app before.

The beds were very comfortable. The majority of the staff were very pleasant and helpful. Although weird, I didn't like the very flimsy toilet paper.
