There was a bedbug in our bed I would like our money back please

Tru is quickly becoming my go-to hotel when I travel. The consistency across the brand is flawless. The sheets are so soft. My family loves the continental breakfast. Really wish you had Pepsi vending though.

Room was bare bones. Fitted Sheet kept pulling off bed and there was no mattress pad/cover. No extra blankets in the room. I'm pretty sure the front desk lady was there the full two days I was checked in. Except to sleep a few hours. She was fantastic, friendly kind despite how busy it was. I think her name was Melissa. She is Truly, a star for that place. They need to get more help and she was doing many peoples jobs.

Initially, at check in, I was given a room that was occupied. After I returned to the front desk to report that, I was then given a room smaller than what I had booked. When I asked the reason, I was informed rudely and firmly that this is what I get because they are fully booked. The unapologetic and rude behavior is what bothers me the most. I can understand mistakes happen but, please, at least be nice to your guests.

The front desk staff wasn't above and beyond friendly but the lady doing breakfast was so cheerful and kind! The rooms were clean but they dont have the exercise bands for wall and no microwave. It's like Hilton on a budget.

Jessica the gal at the front desk is amazing, she was very nice and helpful… she needs a raise or recognition please do not get rid of her, she was the best part of our stay. The Breakfast was so so, but beggars can’t be choosers. The main concern was there was loud banging between 1-3 am one night it was garbage pickup the next day it sounded like construction or extremely loud guest. The bathroom could have been slightly cleaner in the shower so I had some disinfectant wipes and spray to give the shower a once over during our stay. But overall the stay was a ok, I’m not opposed to staying there again for a do over

The check in was great, super friendly! Definitely go with any recommendations she has, they were on point. Room and hotel was clean, wide variety of breakfast offered. Only complaint I have is housekeeping barging in when I had the “Yawn, not just yet” tag hanging on the door.

Hotel is nice, it’s cozy and clean, convenient location to everything.but the Pool heater was broken and the pool was feeezing, couldn’t even get in to enjoy it. And we booked it to enjoy a pool after a long day. They should disclose those kind of things on the websites before people book. And I was also bummed there was no microwave in the room and the fridge was super tiny. They had one in the lobby, but it made for some inconvenience.

If you are looking for a place to stay just to lay down, sleep and get up and go, this place works. The staff were friendly and helpful, the place is new and clean. However... there are no coffee pots or microwaves in the rooms and the beds are single mattresses on a platform. If you are like us and enjoy a cup of coffee in your pjs, then plan to walk to the lobby to get it. These are minimally appointed rooms with just the basics to get by. We prefer to have in-room access to a coffee machine and microwave, and since we are older, we like more comfortable beds. Nice enough, but we won't stay at another Tru in the future.
