This [first] room we stayed in was not the best. AC just didn't function properly. Had to set temperature to extremes before it provided the desired setting.
The staff was nothing short of EXCEPTIONAL and PROFESSIONAL. That was awesome.
My issue with Spark is specific to the brand. We've been staying in this hotel since it was owned by two prior brands and a hot breakfast was always included along with free parking and free wi-fi. Now under the Spark brand, there is NO HOT BREAKFAST and the continental breakfast doesn't even offer milk. Additionally the rooms no longer have microwave machines or ice buckets [must request the latter from front desk]. As I shared, we've been staying here for a long while [over a decade] and this is the first ownership to remove hot breakfast, room ice machine and microwave machines.
I'm not sure how successful the brand - Spark - will remain with this miserly approach.
