Terrasse Royale Hotel

Before my stay, I was a bit worried after reading some Google reviews, but in the end, choosing this hotel was the right decision. It's a bit far from downtown, but it's located in a quiet and safe area. The room was clean and spacious, making for a very comfortable stay.

The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and there was plenty of space, with two restrooms which was great. There was ample parking nearby, and a supermarket and many restaurants directly opposite the entrance. The surrounding area was also very clean and felt safe. I would choose to stay here again next time! It's about a 20-minute drive to the old town, which is very convenient! Overall, a good experience!

The hotel is located not far from St. Joseph's Church, visible from the entrance, within a 10-minute walk. The street in front of the hotel is the main street of the area, lined with restaurants, supermarkets, and markets, making it very convenient. It's only a 2-3 minute walk to the subway station; a subway ride to the Old Town takes about half an hour, and a taxi costs around 20 Canadian dollars. I booked a superior suite, which was basically a one-bedroom apartment. The room's renovation was probably only two years old; although the materials were simple, it was relatively new and clean, and fully equipped, even with pots and pans. We were assigned a room on the back street, and the bedroom was inside, so it was completely quiet. Most importantly, the price was excellent, offering exceptional value. Oh, and if you like desserts, don't miss the tiramisu at the bakery across from the hotel.

I had such good memories of my visit in July 2024 that I'll be back again in July 2025. I really hope to have another chance to visit.
