It's a relatively small hotel in a convenient location in the city, but the people working there make you feel welcome, and although it's not new, the rooms and amenities are perfect, so I think it's a good hotel.

Kita Hotel is located directly behind the Iwate Prefectural Office. I stayed here for the first time using the Morioka Inn Support Discount. A locally owned hotel. The building is old, but the rooms have been renovated and were comfortable. Air conditioning is available in each room for comfort. Breakfast is served at the restaurant on the second floor, and is brought to you individually rather than buffet style. The cucumbers 🥒 in the salad turned into butterflies 🦋, and the little touches made me feel so good. Convenience stores such as Lawson and 7-Eleven are nearby, but it's a bit of a walk to the downtown area.

The appearance and location of the hotel are good, but the room smells like an old man.

With its quaint, woody hall in front of the front desk, this hotel has a different feel from chain business hotels. It seemed a little far from Morioka Station, but it's actually right next to Morioka Castle, right behind the prefectural office, and close to a quaint restaurant and the Iwate Bank Red Brick Building, making it the center of town. If I come to Morioka again, I would definitely like to stay there again!
