GRIDS PREMIUM HOTEL MORIOKA(Newly open on 2026 May 1st) ★★★★
"Brand new, recently opened hotel. The staff was very kind and friendly. It has a public onsen, and the breakfast was good. Modern washing machines are available."
Hotel Ace Morioka ★★★
"The hotel is ideally located, approximately thirteen minutes away from Morioka station, and equidistant with the nearby castle park. It is also within walking distance of many conveniences such as bakeries, combinis, and a local cinema. There are coin operated laundry facilities onsite, and the staff are helpful, kind, and professional. There is an onsite dining area, as well as dining facilities, which I can not attest to as I was on business and, as such, left early and returned late. However, the aromas were enticing! Morioka has many beautiful shrines and temples, with Nasukawacho and its 300 Buddha statues being of particular note. Enjoy your stay."
Richmond Hotel Morioka Ekimae ★★★★
"The room decor was average, but the bedding was really comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely amazing – you definitely have to try it! The hotel is conveniently located just east of Morioka Station, right across a small road. On the west side of Morioka Station, there's the Malios building with a free observation deck on the 20th floor. You can catch a bus to Koiwai Farm from bus stop 10 at Morioka Station; it's about a 40-minute ride and offers stunning views of snowy mountains and green pastures together."
Daiwa Roynet Hotel Morioka Station (Ekimae) ★★★★
"Best hotel, nice room. best location. 4 mins walk to Jr station. Best value for money."
Dormy Inn Morioka Natural Hot Spring ★★★
"excellent stay and within walking distance to Morioka sansa festival. parking fee about Yen 1100. have onsen n nightly free ramen at 930pm."
Art Hotel Morioka ★★★★
"Good hotel that is near Odori street. Good hotel that is near Odori street."
Four Points Flex by Sheraton Morioka ★★★
"The hotel was nice, but there's nothing much around. I'd recommend staying near the south exit of the train station instead."
Morioka Hotel New Carina ★★★
"There were plenty of affiliated parking lots so I was able to park with peace of mind. Parking is free from 6pm, but there is a surcharge before 6pm. For the three hours from check-in opening time until 6pm, the surcharge is borne by the individual."
Toyoko Inn Morioka Ekimae ★★★
"location is good can walk to morioka castle or others attractions and also near morioka station"

Morioka Grand Hotel Annex
"Although the building is undeniably old, the staff are friendly, the rooms are well-equipped, the food is good, and the location is also great, so I use it from time to time. I have never had a single complaint so far."
Hotel Royal Morioka
"It's a bit far from the station. If you have big luggage, I recommend taking a taxi. There is a Starbucks downstairs and a restaurant in the hotel. Turn left and there is a shopping mall. It's old, but the overall maintenance is OK. The sanitation is clean and the front desk can communicate in basic English. It's not too far from Shenglouge, you can try it"
Hotel Route-Inn Morioka Ekimae
"It was nice and clean. We stayed with our family, and they made sure that we all had rooms close to each other. The breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and we enjoyed it from the morning. I think it was a breakfast that gave us energy for the day."
Super Hotel Morioka
"This is the most satisfactory hotel among the 3 hotels I stayed in during my trip to Northeast China. Room size, service, facilities, breakfast, etc. This price is really unbeatable. I will book this hotel next time and recommend it to everyone."
Shikitei Morioka TsunagiOnsen
"It was so good haha"
Hotel Shion
"Nice location, nice view , good food , very nice onsen. Very helpful staff Very happy to stay here, hope to come back in one day."
Aishinkan
"My family and I stayed here over the New Year holidays. It was our first time back in 20 years. This time, we stayed in the main building, but the facilities were old. Apparently, the elevator in the annex broke down, and the main building's power was partially shut off for inspection, causing the water supply to be weak and unusable for a long period of time. I inquired at the front desk about the situation, but the only announcement made over the in-house announcement was an apology and explanation about the annex elevator and no information about the main building's toilets. The rooms and toilets are well-maintained, so please rest assured. We ate buffet meals both in the evening and in the morning. The selection and taste were average. The bath was spacious, and the water didn't have a hot spring smell, which I really liked. Although I didn't use it this time, there is an open-air standing bath. I highly recommend using it if you stay here."
Bessou Kakei
"We didn't encounter any other guests and were able to relax in peace and quiet. The room was thoroughly cleaned and felt very tidy. The stone tray where the bathroom amenities were placed was great as it allowed everyone to keep their belongings organized. The breakfast was delicious, but I wish it was a little more substantial. Overall, I was very satisfied. Thank you for your hospitality."
Toyoko Inn Morioka Eki Minami Guchi Ekimae
"Clean and tidy. Small but complete"
Hotel Pearl City Morioka
"The building itself is old, so I think there are some things that can't be helped, but I was concerned about the mold in the bathroom and the peeling wallpaper. The man at the reception had a very nice smile. However, the cost performance is excellent, so I will continue to use it."
Yamaichi
"It was really nice. It was a ryokan I only saw in anime. It was my first time going to a hot spring. It had a certain feel to it and I was satisfied. The owner is also kind. I really enjoyed the breakfast haha."
