I had booked a stay at this hotel for a wedding I was attending nearby. The hotel was recommended to me by the bride and groom themselves and as a full-time college graduate student, it was my cheapest option. When I booked the hotel I mistakenly booked for the incorrect dates, I immediately noticed and called the hotel. I spoke to Kristin who was EXTREMELY helpful and kind. She said she would change the dates no problem and gave me a confirmation number and assured me no issues would arise at my arrival because she would be working. Well, when i arrived I was greeted by Patricia who wasn’t the kindest, she told me I had to call ******* to change my booking because she couldn’t do anything for me. While I am aware the dates were my mistake I was assured it would be alright and when I mentioned this to her she said “Yeah…no”. Why was I not informed prior to check-in? On top of all of this a charge upwards of $50 was added to my stay. As I mentioned I am a college student, but I had no other choice; I couldn’t sleep on the street!? This amount of money may seem small, but it actually makes a large difference. For this inconvenience I was gifted a drink and snack from the market… I am sooo unhappy with my experience! The manager or whoever can feel free to contact me about this situation. I was already late to the wedding coming from school and this didn’t help, so embarrassing!
