Firstly, I would like to express my disappointment regarding my recent experience with Treebo (Booking ID- TRB-84762261768) As a long-time customer of Treebo, both personally and through my employer, I have always relied on the brand based on my past positive experiences. However, this time, I encountered several issues that greatly affected my stay. Upon arrival, I completed the web check-in process, but unfortunately, I found that my room had not been properly cleaned. The initial room allocated to me had a strong and unpleasant phenyl smell. The washroom was uncleaned and in poor condition, with broken fixtures, rotted gates, and no exhaust fan. I immediately reported these issues to the staff, hoping for a resolution. The response I received was unsatisfactory, with the staff indicating that they couldn't do much to address the problems. Considering the amount I paid for the room (Rs. 2.9k), I was deeply disappointed and felt that the level of service provided was far from acceptable. My wife had accompanied me on this trip, and our experience was completely spoiled by the condition of the room and the lack of assistance from the hotel staff. Despite reaching out to customer support multiple times, the assistance provided was ineffective. They initially promised to help but later suggested shifting me to another property, albeit with an additional retention amount. At that point, I lost hope for any meaningful resolution. As a result of this experience, I have decided the following 1) I will no longer make any future bookings with Treebo. 2) I will discuss this incident with my employer and recommend that we discontinue our ties with Treebo. 3) In addition, as a qualified chartered accountant with five years of experience, I plan to share my negative experience on my social media accounts and professional networks, where I have a combined reach of 20k connections. I feel compelled to do so, given the sense of helplessness I experienced, despite fulfilling all the required obligations such as making reservations, completing web check-in, and paying the full amount at check-in. While I understand that my case may be considered insignificant, I sincerely hope that my feedback will prevent others from going through the same distressing situation
