Toyoko Inn is always a reliable choice, they have everything! I really love how hotels in Japan provide small packets of toner, lotion, and makeup remover – it's so hygienic and convenient, a big thumbs up! The only minor issue was that the humidifier wasn't very easy to use; I spent quite a while trying to figure it out, which was pretty funny.

I stayed for two days, and the staff were very helpful on the first day, but on the second day, the morning of my last day, their service was terrible. I left feeling very upset and dissatisfied.

First of all, the hotel is conveniently located because it is not far from the train station. There are many places to eat near the hotel, which is worth praising. The hotel's breakfast is very nutritious and has many choices. However, the hotel is relatively old in design, with only one elevator. Moreover, during the peak check-out period, if there are several groups of passengers and their luggage is very large, I have to wait for three more elevator trips to go back and forth before I can check out on time at the lobby. In addition, the hotel does not have enough power sockets, and there is no socket at the bedside for charging my phone. The hotel's restaurant is very small and the seats are so crowded. I was forced to listen to the private conversation of the people at the next table while eating and chatting. If the dining place is large, there will be no such problem. I found that the sound insulation of the hotel door was very poor on the night I checked in, because there were passengers chatting in Cantonese at the elevator entrance, and I could hear them clearly. Compared with the Abeno branch of the same group in Osaka, the only advantage of this hotel is that guests can sit in the lobby to shelter from the rain or rest after checking out, and the service attitude of this branch is n million times better than that branch.

The hotel is behind Nagoya Station, less than a 10-minute walk away. There's a newer Toyoko Inn next door, which is slightly more expensive (if you're just looking for a good night's sleep, this one might be a better value; the two are practically face-to-face). Toyoko Inn is a chain brand in Japan, and their quality control is reliable. The check-in machines are all the same, and check-out is also done via the self-service machine.

The sanitation is very good. The beds are on either side of the bathroom. Although the rooms are small, they do not affect each other. I am very satisfied. There is no queue for breakfast, and the cherry tomatoes are delicious.
