It’s a great place to get some peace and quiet in the midst of the hustle and bustle. It’s just a 500-meter walk away from Chinatown. It’s a safe and comfortable product! The food seems not to suit Chinese tastes, I haven’t tried it yet,,,

The reception staff and security were very friendly and made us very welcome. In general I found it very pleasant there. The only thing that really disappointed me was the room cleaning staff. I had tops in the closet and two were stolen from there. I had let the manager know and he had spoken to the person in charge of the cleaning staff. She then came to me and said she would take care of it and contact me at a later date, but that didn't happen.

Hotel employees are stealing. After cross-examination, the hotel confirmed the employee's theft, but failed to take effective measures to compensate for the loss.

Also good breakfast

The place was clean with friendly staff ( they made me feel at home) and near restaurants and grocery shop. spacious bedrooms and showers. but the water in the shower took long to warm up and breakfast could be improved to include more continental items

Visited the hotel on valentine, and the whole experience was awesome, the dinner was so yummy especially the lamb chops and the prawn soup . very professional staff, Nicholas and Cornelius made our stay comfortable. will return. swift check in and check out, thank you for accommodating our request.

I really liked this hotel! I only stayed for 1 night but would like to stay again if I'm in the area. As a lone female traveller I am always conscious of safety. There is a plaza less then 1 minute where there are many food and eating options and there were also a few lively bars within a short walking distance also There were not many street lights at night but the area was busy enough on a Friday night There is no hotel airport free shuttle, you have to pay for it and mine never showed up! I therefore ordered an Uber and it was only about £5 to airport Really nice decor and helpful staff

Pros * Wide, clean room * Moderate price * Stress-free * Quiet Cons * None. Room, hot water, restaurant, laundry, staff, all service was good. I had no complaints about their service. This hotel is recommended for people looking for suitable accommodation around 100 dollars.

Nothing unique. If there's such a thing as false advertising, this booking was it. The rooms could really use a spruce up. The linen is overdue for replacement, not sure why you call it premium? My bad, I should have paid attention to the other reviews before confirmation of booking. Plus the VIP perk (round-trip airport pick and drop) -- why offer something you intend to charge me for? I'd still have booked with or without the perk. The ping-pong between ******* and the Monarch staff just left me feeling frustrated and used... The fact though that no one at the hotel acknowledged my booking or email inquiries until check-in/out is the reason I'm giving you a low rating. Do better, The Monarch/*******.

Overall, it was an okay stay. Although you're able to hear noises from the floor above - where conferences are held and noises from the corridor as well. The breakfast is pricey compared to what is served - you only have the option to get their buffet and menu/ala carte is not available for breakfast. I have to say their restaurant menu is good though and reasonably priced as well. I feel very safe as well. The reception turned off the wifi when I wanted to book an Uber rather than using their service - not great!

I was very pleased by my stay at the monarch hotel, the staff are very nice i like all the service they provide and the room is very comfortable. I would definitely come back here and i would recommend it.

The bedroom was spacious and clean. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The food was terrible. The staff were very chatty but I did not like the fact that many were trying to see what they could get from me. In particular several wanted me to sponsor their move to Ireland where I would organise work for them. I have been to Kenya 24 times and stayed in hotels of all standards but this stands out for the reasons already mentioned. I would not recommend this hotel at all.

The monarch hotel is great. Hotels. Com jas some incorrect information. The Hotel does NOT have free airport transfers.

Cornel, Jemimah, Peter and liz were very caring and helpful in our conference meeting. The food was delicious and to spice it up the snacks killed it coz the snack were freshly made. Tho I loved the wings more..we will be back for the services.
