This place is in a very convenient location for UN meetings. It's only a couple of minutes from Village Market Mall, and within walking distance of the UN (we didn't have any issue with safety but it is probably advisable to walk in groups, especially at night). It doesn't do evening meals but there are plenty of restaurants within walking distance, as well as delivery options. It's excellent value for money and the staff are very friendly. Breakfast is good. Some of the rooms are small but still adequate. Mosquito nets would be welcome, though, but spray for the room is available

Don't let the view of the gate from the road deter you. This is an excellent guest house with spacious suites. We spent 4 nights in the Mombasa Room on the ground floor. To save energy the hot water is normally only available for showers or baths in the morning and evening, but this was adequate for us. Although they are willing to prepare lunch or dinner with advance reservations, there is a modern Mall a few minutes walk away with many food options; we recommend that approach. The grounds are well kept and lovely, although it was too cool for the swimming pool to tempt us. The is a fridge in each room (I think) and a microwave in the breakfast room available to guests. The manager, Jack, and the attendant, Benson, were both very kind and helpful. We think this Guest House is a much better choice than a hotel.
