I checked in on Sunday, April 12th, at 2 PM. I immediately wanted to take a shower, but found there was no cold water! I called the service center, and they actually replied that the hotel was cleaning the water tanks, so there really was no cold water? Their tone was like, 'Having hot water is enough, right?' I asked them how I was supposed to shower with only scalding hot water, and they said, 'You want to shower? Oh, well, you really can't then.' It was as if the hotel thought no one would shower on a Sunday afternoon, so they chose that time to clean the water tanks. I also asked, 'Until what time will they be cleaning? And why wasn't I informed during check-in?' They said they had to ask the engineering department. Fine, so I tried to take a nap while waiting for the water, but then I discovered the air conditioning in the room couldn't be turned on!!! Housekeeping brought me an electric fan! Even with the fan, it was still very stuffy, so they opened the window for me and made me sign a commitment not to throw anything from the high-rise. I mean, did I ask to open the window? I wanted the air conditioning! Finally, the water tanks were clean by 5 PM on Sunday afternoon. I quickly showered and went to the Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor for dinner. Then, on the third day, I also ate at the Japanese restaurant on the second floor. All the restaurants had excellent, very comfortable air conditioning! However, from my check-in on Sunday to my check-out on Tuesday, the room remained extremely stuffy for three days and two nights. The weather in Nanchang was so humid that even on the 55th floor, I couldn't feel any breeze when I put my hand out the window. I had to rely on the electric fan to sleep at night. During my stay, the hotel sent me a plate of fruit as an apology. What do I need fruit for? Is turning on the air conditioning so difficult? The hotel facilities look like a luxurious hotel, but the actual stay felt like a terrible motel. All the staff members just looked at me helplessly and told me to endure the heat! Oh, and by the way, the hotel hallways had air conditioning, but the rooms didn't. We booked a king room and a suite, and I'm certain neither had air conditioning. The housekeeping staff even admitted that the rooms only had a fresh air system, which is why they brought me the electric fan. An extremely infuriating experience!

This hotel boasts an excellent location and is a well-established property. The service is outstanding, with staff dedicated to patrolling the underground parking lot. They even contacted me when they noticed my car window was left open! Their professionalism is truly commendable, and I'm very grateful for their attentiveness!

Amazing view and close proximity to main Nanchang attractions and transport. Great breakfast!

King-size bed with a river view, and Tengwang Pavilion is right downstairs. It's also very convenient to get to Dashiyuan. The service was excellent; it rained today, and the front desk made it easy to borrow an umbrella. The room was very clean, and the customer service was great too.

The location is great, within walking distance to the food street and Tengwang Pavilion, though it's a bit of a trek to the subway station. The river view from the room is beautiful, and you can see Tengwang Pavilion in the distance. Highly recommended!

Hotel Breakfast: The dining environment is excellent - clean, quiet, and offers an expansive view of the Gan River through floor-to-ceiling windows. The plates are just the right size, and the soup dishes are of great quality and incredibly delicious. The cold dishes are delicate and petite, and the pastries are adorably small, which is perfect for guests to try a little bit of everything without wasting food – truly commendable! The staff clearing plates are quiet, efficient, and discreet, which I particularly appreciate. Hotel Room Service: I troubled the staff a few times, and they were consistently gentle and polite in their service. Many thanks!

This is the worst and dirtiest hotel I've stayed in during my ten-plus days of travel. Everything felt grimy. Do they not clean the items in the room? Isn't that basic? There were unidentified liquid stains, and with a child, I didn't dare touch anything. No one offered to help with luggage; they just stood there staring. No one even bothered to ask if I needed help. The front desk staff were rude. I came here because of the good reviews, but they're all fake. This room is barely worth 200.

The hotel is quite new. It's on a high floor with an open view and a great scenery. It's right next to Dashiyuan, very close to Tengwang Pavilion and Wanshou Palace, all within a 10-minute walk. The front desk lady was very professional; during the brief check-in process, she covered everything necessary and even arranged welcome fruits for us. She was always ready to answer questions and fulfill requests. The staff in the lobby were also very enthusiastic and proactive. The breakfast offered a wide variety of options. Very satisfied overall.

The hotel's location is excellent, offering unobstructed views of the Gan River from the higher floors, including the Bayi Bridge, and some rooms even have a view of Tengwang Pavilion. The service was exceptional; some staff members would proactively greet us as they passed by. The front desk and concierge staff were outstanding, eager to open car doors and help with luggage, showing great enthusiasm and attentiveness. The front desk staff were friendly, answered all our questions, and were very accommodating. I'd say the front desk service here is the best I've experienced among many 5-star hotels.

Staying at the Swissôtel Nanchang was a fantastic experience! The hotel's location is superb, directly across the river from Tengwang Pavilion, offering an unbeatable view from the river-view rooms. The rooms are spacious and clean, and the service is warm and attentive. The Nanchang-style mixed noodles and pot soup at breakfast were absolutely delicious. Highly recommended!

The hotel's location is excellent, but the facilities are quite old. We arrived on the second day of the Chinese New Year, and on the morning of the third day, we waited half an hour for the elevator just to go down for breakfast. There are simply too few elevators during peak times.

The only selling point of this hotel is its proximity to Tengwang Pavilion and Dashi Yuan. The view varies depending on the room type; I booked the 'Little Duck Family Room' which overlooks Bayi Bridge. Contrary to what some other guests said, I thought the breakfast selection was pretty good. They had white sugar cakes and earthenware pot soup. I was a bit disappointed that the preserved egg and pork patty soup I wanted wasn't available, but they did have the signature mixed noodles. The Western breakfast options were a bit limited, but the Chinese selection covered most of Nanchang's local snacks. The restaurant service was also good, and the Chinese restaurant on the fourth floor was decent too. However, the room facilities could use an upgrade; some of the cabinet doors were a bit old.

This hotel is right next to the Pavilion of Prince Teng, just a few minutes' walk away. From the room, you can enjoy views of the Pavilion of Prince Teng and the Bayi Bridge spanning the Gan River. It's a very comfortable hotel.
