Good: It was a great experience staying in a traditional house. The price was reasonable. Bad: The reception entrance was hard to find at first. I didn't receive a reply to my inbox message. The garden was not clean and had a lot of cigarette butts.

I loved it! My favorite stay in Japan! You just live like traditionell Japanese, which is just a nice experience. Although the showers etc. were shared, they were super clean and one person showers you could lock. There was rice porridge breakfast includes, which made the stay completely perfect. And though you sleep on the ground, i didn‘t thought it was that hard:)

It was marvellous to go by night at the public bath. The arrival with the letter for us in the mailing box was perfect. The old japanese house is beautiful. We learned a little bit the japanese habits. The rice pudding in the morning was perfect. Thank you so mutch. Jeanne Marie and 3 sons

Amazing guesthouse for the price. We slept on futon. Very good location, near to the Nagoya Park.

The place was very cute but there were a few hairs on my resting space, and the dormitory didn’t have a normal sink mirror for getting ready in the morning.

The hostel er meget hyggeligt og giver en rigtigt god japansk vibe, men der er ikke så mange toiletter eller brusere på stedet. God temperatur, gode senge, pænt og renligt, men der er ikke rigtigt nogle medarbejdere, da de måtte skære af siden corona, dog finder de nogle rigtig gode alternative løsninger. All in all, hvis du har tænkt dig at overnatte i Nara og gerne vil prøve noget lidt ekstra er dette et fedt sted.
