Narita Gateway Hotel

The hotel's location is great, very close to the airport, and they offer a shuttle service. However, the room facilities are a bit old. It's suitable for catching an early morning flight. But my check-in experience was very unpleasant. The front desk staff on duty showed a stark contrast in their attitude towards different guests. They were warm and attentive when assisting local guests, but when it was my turn to check in, their attitude was cold, their responses perfunctory, and they were very impatient with my questions. When checking out for my flight in the morning, there was zero service. Unfortunately, that day coincided with a massive storm in Chiba, and all transportation to the airport was cut off. I ended up having to charter a car and didn't arrive at the hotel until 1 AM. Being the last day of a tiring trip already, this kind of discrepancy left a very sour taste in my mouth. I hope the hotel can strengthen their front desk staff's service training and treat all guests equally.

Whenever I have an early flight from Narita Airport, I always stay at this hotel the night before. The rooms are clean, the service is good, and it offers great value for money. Plus, the hotel shuttle bus to the airport in the morning is incredibly convenient for catching my flight.

Facilities: It's an older hotel, but the facilities are excellent, and the air conditioning works really well. The water pressure is fantastic, making for a very comfortable shower. Environment: The hotel lobby has an airplane model and huge floor-to-ceiling windows, which looks really impressive. Service: They offer Chinese-speaking service, and both check-in and check-out are self-service via machines, with an option to select a Chinese operating system.

The environment is elegant and comfortable. Looking out the window, you see lush green hills and a sea of trees, stretching as far as the eye can see under a clear blue sky, with fresh air. Plus, there's a self-service check-in machine at the front desk where you just scan your passport and select your country – super easy. They also have staff who speak fluent Chinese, which made the experience even better.
