Shofuro Matsuya

The town looks like a ghost town, and you can't see any ghosts during the day. But this hotel is great, there is no bad service, and the dinner is amazing. I am very grateful to the Chinese girl in the restaurant and the shy front desk guy who doesn’t speak English. Although I didn’t see the scenery here in early winter, But I don’t regret coming!

I stayed in a room with an open-air bath, so I could easily enter it many times. The food was delicious too.

This time, I used it with my family. The staff are very friendly and the family members are very satisfied with the response. Perhaps because of the location, the bugs are obvious, even in the open-air bath I am worried. In addition, I think the air conditioner in the room is a bit weak. All meals are in private rooms, so I feel relieved at this time! Especially the breakfast is delicious 🍚

This is my second time staying here. I stayed in a room with an open-air bath again, but I changed the room. It was nice that it had a different feel from last time. The food was delicious, the bath was nice, and the bar was lovely. I really enjoyed it. I'd like to stay here again.

We stayed in a room with an open-air bath that was apparently used in a commercial. The room was too big for two people... The open-air bath faced the river, and the terrace was also spacious and lovely. Above all, the food was delicious. Plenty of vegetables... Both dinner and breakfast were very satisfying. There was also a space where you could drink freely at any time. This place turns into a bar at night. This is my favorite of all the Japanese hot spring lodges I've been to.
