La Quinta Inn & Suites by Wyndham New Braunfels

Some people said something wrong about this hotel I read reviews previously to book but everyone talks depending and how it goes, wi really like the location and everything the only thing is that at night it was noisy (but is not the hotel) was the traffic outside ambulance, police etc ., but it is good hotel.

Stayed in a room at the front of the property which we were told by a particularly uninterested member of staff at the reception desk was a quiet room. The hotel us close to a major road and the traffic noise was overpowering. The bli d fitted to window did nothing to external light. Tried to call reception from the room but the phones appeated to be switched off. We cancel our second night and moved elsewhere.

The guy at the front desk was fine and helpful enough. The elevator was broken so we had to go to the third floor and carry all our bags up. There was visible black mold all around the shower. About 2 inches above the tile was covered in black mold all the way around. Luckily I am non-reactive to the spores so it did not bother me physically, but it was really gross. That is a very large health hazard.

The lady that checked us in was so friendly. The rooms were clean and the breakfast hot and varied. Great job👍

For an animal friendly room it was clean, but seemed very outdated compared to the room i booked online. The microwave is obnoxious and has a steady loud ringing noise the whole time its on. The fridge is not cold so drinks stay warm. The bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was what you'd expect and was clean. The staff were friendly and inviting except the male attendant on friday afternoon, he can use some customer service training. Room servive was good and the cleaning staff were very nice. Im lucky my wife speaks spanish. Next time i wont come with a pet to see how much nicer the non pet rooms are. Hotel is located nicely in new braunfels and central to most everything.

The room was clean, beds were comfortable. The water pressure in the sink was poor but the shower was fine. The hot tub and pool were closed for the season which was unexpected and disappointing. Overall stay was good though.

The staff were amazing. Friendly, helpful and made us feel like they were glad to see us. The room was clean & updated and they were pet friendly with a designated pet walking space.

Clean and decent hotel. The wall paper behind the bed is peeling some and the ac unit is a bit confusing to operate due to having both a wall thermostat and a unit thermostat. The elevator was broken on the day we checked out. I prefer a newer property but overall this place was ok for the price. Staff was kind and the hotel was clean.

Everything was great, i only think my room or all rooms should have an updated non tub shower just walk in is great.
