Renaissance Newport Beach Hotel

We came to meet our physician & surgeon who was also at the Renaissance. Service in all areas EXCEPT check in/out was exceptional. When the staff for check in would answer phones before taking care of lines of customers, there is something wrong. There was one service person who was very very good. Her name was Mechenzie.  She was fast and accurate.  A necessity with impatient customers and long lines of them.

The AC in the room was too noisy and disturbing sleep at night. Others amenities are well served.

Nice looking hotel building and rooms convenient location. Housekeeper knocked at the door at 9am which is unexpectedly early. WiFi didn’t work, and encounters hiccups before it’s sorted out Parkade has a low ceiling, my jeep ranger scratched the top bar when entering

Great hotel, perfect location close to the airport as well as UC Irvine and the rest of the OC. Super clean and spacious room with good view and free parking. Didn't really hear the airplanes even though the proximity to the airport

I love this city so much so I booked this hotel. But i did't know why the housekeeping just used the key and opened the door directly after knocking twice. I haven't walked to the door yet and he just opened the door and came in. I was pissed. Can you please just call first or maybe wait for a second till i open the door for you?!

The room looks quite unclean and the bathroom doesn’t match the pictures presented.

I had to stay at this hotel for 9 nights. Just a series of bad things... Internet was down for half of my stay. I would often come back to my room and find that room service didn't come, even though I was leaving pretty early every day to go to work. There is no water to drink in the rooms. They wouldn't let the delivery guy bring me food to my room. Someone left a glass on the floor in the corridor next to my room and it stayed there for a week. The sync was clogged when I arrived and the shower drain always takes ages to suck away all the water. I always had to open the toilet bowl tank to manually make the water reload. As I write this, I can see a massive mold spot on one of the pillows I never used. I wish I noticed that earlier 🤮
