From start to finish we were welcomed and treated with such care from an incredibly friendly, passionate and professional team. The hotel has been thoughtfully planned out and decorated to a very high standard.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Vanderbilt, the staff were helpful, competent and friendly and the hotel is in a great spot. Perfect for a weekend get away and you wouldn’t really need to leave the hotel if you didn’t want to.

I will remember this trip for a long time! The hotel exceeded all expectations, but it was the staff and the genuine kindness they showed to me and my young son that have made this stay so memorable. I am so grateful to everyone at the Vanderbilt that we got to meet for creating such a warm atmosphere. It felt more like being at a relative’s beautiful home than a hotel. Truly everyone working there genuinely seemed so happy to be there with one another and with the guests. Sayid, Cindy, Morgan all went out of their way to make us feel welcomed and at home. And everyone else from the front desk to the waitstaff were just all so genuinely welcoming! I can’t say enough good things about our experience. Again, the room and the accommodations were fantastic, but it’s the people at the Vanderbilt who made this stay so magical and memorable. Thank you so much. I hope you can pass along my gratitude to the staff.

Perfect location for our trip to Newport! A warm and welcoming staff helped make the experience even better. We took advantage of the Whiskey tasting at the hotel, along with a vintage car tour of Newport arranged by the hotel. Walking distance to town ensured that we could see and do a lot, all without our car. The food at the hotel was excellent!! Dinner, breakfast, oyster hour, champagne toast on Friday - all in a beautiful designed spaces - whether in the billiards room, the library, dining room or conservatory. The staff truly ensured a seamless weekend of good experiences in a historic setting. Fun and thoughtful touches throughout provided a true escape from the busyness of our daily life.

Wonderful location, easy walking distance to most attractions and restaurants. Great bar for a relaxing afternoon cocktail. Terrific service and very friendly staff. Loved the mansion vibes set throughout and the comfortable setting.

From the moment we pulled up in front of the resort we felt special and pampered. That continued through the check-in process (which was effortless) into the bar, the experiences (we enjoyed the Absinthe experience) and literally every aspect of our weekend stay. I can not provide a stronger recommendation on this property. The property was elegant and had unique character which made our stay remarkably special. I do not often provide reviews, but this property warranted a review!

Scheduled a last minute company retreat as a combination work and relaxation. The hotel team was so helpful in assisting with last-minute plans; the event was seamless, and we had a private meeting space, a beautiful lunch spread, and a fun activity planned. We were treated so well and will definitely be back again. Might make this an annual trip.
