The hotel has beautiful scenery and a convenient location, but this is by far the worst 4-star hotel I have ever stayed at. Key Issues Summary: From serious racial assumptions and profiling at check-in, clueless staff with no accountability, broken facilities, impractical design, to wasting our time and money at checkout — the entire experience was extremely disappointing. Details: We are only a group of three people from Hong Kong. During check-in, the front desk staff saw that we are Asian and immediately assumed we were together with a larger Indian group behind us. They repeatedly and aggressively warned us that our room only allowed a maximum of 5 people and not to bring in 8 people — even though we only had three people and never mentioned eight at all. This false assumption and suspicious attitude made us feel very disrespected. They also kept making strange comments about us having small children, seemingly because we are Asian. After check-in, service remained poor. We asked many staff about the water machine — almost all said they didn’t know and told us to ask the front desk. We found it ourselves, but it was broken. The main entrance is inside the casino; otherwise guests must walk through a garbage station and parking lot, which is highly inconvenient and unsafe, especially with small children. On checkout day, we were charged a $150 late fee (understandable but expensive). However, the staff had no clear responsibilities. Because we didn’t have our passports, they insisted on a security escort. After waiting 10 minutes, a staff member said “This is not my job,” and another said the same. We ended up waiting 10–20 minutes while they argued. As travelers of color, we felt disrespected and unwelcome the whole time. This hotel needs much better staff training and internal communication. Strongly not recommended.

I didn't realize I'd booked a smoking room until we checked in, so my whole family, including our kids, ended up in a room reeking of smoke. The front desk staff were incredibly arrogant and completely unhelpful, even after we explained we had children. They strictly enforced the booking details and refused to switch our room. I also recommend that Trip.com clearly label smoking rooms when booking. The hotel facilities are old and outdated, and the front desk service was terrible. A really bad experience overall.

Friendly staff, clean room, and lots to do. Enjoyed the free drinks while gambling. Welcoming environment, perfect for families, couples, and even friends.

They don't clean the rooms every day here. I stayed for three days and no one cleaned my room, which was really uncomfortable. The internet was also bad.

This was the hotel where we stayed for a night while visiting Niagara Falls and also checking out the casino. Both check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and parking was free. The hotel had a variety of restaurants and very spacious gaming facilities, so we had a lot of fun and were able to relax comfortably. The view from our room was absolutely superb, almost like being in a sky lounge.

I had a very bad experience with Suzanne, one of the receptionists on the checkout morning. She did not have professional manners and was not willing to give any information when asked about the deposits I made. I was surprised to witness her abrupt communication skills which are rare in hospitable sectors. I think the staff working at receptions are an image of the hotels and Suzanne’s behaviour and manners compromised the Seneca Hotel and Resort’s reputation. The reason I write this review is to improve the staff performance and I do not have any intention to damage the particular staff’s career. Many Thanks.

We had an amazing time I went with my sister for my 52th Birthday. Everyone at the resort was great, and the best part is its location. You can actually walk to Canada from the hotel! It’s less than a 30 minute walk to the border, but make sure you bring your passport and a few quarters for the bridge toll back to the USA, which is only $1.25.  The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. We ordered room service and were impressed with the quick delivery and beautiful presentation. The resort also offers several dining options, a full casino, a spa, and a pool, making it a well- rounded destination whether you’re there to relax or explore.

The hotel was beautiful. I took my Mom for the Price is Right and we sat since we live in NW PA. It took a bit of time to check in on Friday at check-in. Also the coffee ☕️ maker in the room didn’t work so I had to get a new one. The only other issue was the bed cover was extremely odd and ishy so we didn’t use them. It was chilly bc we only used the sheets. Other than that nice hotel and casino.
