The hotel is a completely Japanese-style hotel, located at Kinugawa Park Station, not Kinugawa Onsen Station. Park Station is quieter, with fewer people and fewer hotels.
Be sure to bring breakfast and dinner, it's really great!
The hot spring is outdoor and very comfortable.
You can play around Kinugawa if you stay here. You must go to Kinugawa to take a boat. It is definitely a different experience. You don't have to go to Edo Village. It's a bit like Hengdian. Remember to bring a towel when you go to the hot spring station. There is an outdoor free public foot bathing hot spring pool outside the station. It's very comfortable to soak your feet.
It's about a 15-minute walk from the park station. You can visit the suspension bridge and waterfall. It's still very beautiful to stay for 1-2 days.

Very impressed with the service here. But recommended for people who rent cars only. The staff take very good care of you. We booked dinner + breakfast for 7000+, worth it. Dinner was very good. Delicious Japanese style onsen, both indoor and outdoor, nice and clean. Even though the building looks old, it's very clean. The rooms are very spacious and beautiful, well decorated. We booked to sleep on the floor with a futon. But the bed is very soft. Impressed with everything The view along the water is awesome.
