Was a good place just to sleep. But to be honest for the price and location it’s okay. Don’t expect it to be fancy, it is just for sleeping.

It’s very close to the station, so you don’t have to worry about the location. But be careful with what you order

I honestly feel like the ¥7,000 room I stayed in Toyama was much better than this room, even though this one costs almost ¥20,000

I stayed Nikko Park Lodge Hotel in Nikko and location is near to the Tobu Nikko station.

Location is very nice it’s in front of station and bus stop easy to access . Dormitory room is just like it’s ok . It’s not like wow but it is ok to spend night .

The location is great and the reception is professional. However, the hotel is a bit out-dated

The hotel's location is good, but I strongly advise against staying here. The cleanliness and facilities are the worst I've ever seen in Japan.

I’m giving one star because the experience was honestly quite uncomfortable. There was a strong sewage-like smell inside my sleeping pod, which made it very unpleasant to rest. Cleanliness and ventilation really need improvement. I also noticed electrical sockets secured with tape, which did not feel safe or professional. On top of that, guests are required to make their own beds — which isn’t a big issue by itself, but combined with the other problems, it didn’t feel worth the price. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t stay here again.

Great for the location but the place might be in need of refurbishment. You get what you pa for!

It was excellent in the location right next to the station and local shops. The room was clean as well as the toilets and shower - I wish that the rooms were warm - i was cold while in the rooms

Was a good price and near the station

Except for the excellent location (nearest to Tobu-Nikko Station and the buses stops to various locations and places of interest, the hotel is badly in need of upgrades for it's rooms, facilities and amenities. The room I stayed in is big (compared to most hotel rooms in Japan) but the toilet seat cover keeps falling down while using it. Plenty of cobwebs at corners , especially along the corridor. The bathroom taps is like a 'makeshift' upgrade shared by basin and bathtub. See photo. Good thing is that I can see upgrading and renovation taking place but seems like it has been going on for a very long time already.

Convenient place just across Tobu Nikko station. For one night we had all we needed in our twin room, which was like a studio: private bathroom, kitchen corner with microwave, kettle, sink and fridge (no kitchen amenities), balcony with view. Heating and heated blanket did their job in the cold night. There’s a Supermarket and a Laundry service close by. The hotel needs for sure some maintenance and insulation can be improved as it was very cold. The only way to get to upper floors is by elevator, as I tried using the stairs but they were blocked by piles of sheets, which is not ideal as there should be emergency exits! Not really a budget accommodation compared to other places I stayed in Japan and for the standard offered.
