Poor services. No help with luggage’s despite have many stairs in the hotel. The staff seemed uninterested in offering services. Much worse than most onsen hotels in Japan. Best avoid.

Except for the inconvenient transportation, the whole check-in process was still very pleasant. The ritual of beating gongs and drums during check-in was not very adaptable. If you can, I would recommend staying for two nights.

Excellent vibe in ryokan that dates back 300 years. The staff were incredibly helpful as we don't speak Japanese, although there were hardly any other foreigners there (unlike Nikko 2 hours south, which was overwhelmed by tourists). Excellent hot baths, mixed gender and segregated. The Kaiseiki dinner was wonderful. To get there you cross a small swing bridge over a river made of vines and bamboo. A unique experience. Stayed 3 nights, and could have stayed longer. Very relaxing. A short walk away was Heike no sato, a beautiful little village with reconstructed old buildings packed with small museum objects - especially beautiful in autumn ( the leaves were spectacular). Highly recommended.

It was a wonderful inn with hot springs, meals, rooms, and customer service. The view from the room is wonderful along the Yunishi River. There are seasonal events, and the current autumn leaves season is also the best. I would like to hear from you again someday.

I stayed at the inn of my dreams with my family. At first glance, the building looks ordinary, but once inside, it's a different world. A spectacular view of the icicles and Kazura Bridge jumps in. The rooms with open-air baths are also good, and the private room dinner on the opposite bank across the Kazura Bridge is the best in both price and quality. The indoor bath is normal, and the men's open-air bath is about as close as you can reach to the river (although it's impossible because it's about 2m). Breakfast is served in a nice place like Kawadoko, and I think the taste and quantity are just right. The points I was concerned about were that I forgot the room when I was guided to the room, the perfume of the staff in the restaurant was too strong, and the appearance of preparing drinks in the lobby in the morning was very sloppy. The location and baths are great, the food is great, and unfortunately, people need to make an effort, but it's not a bad level, but a disappointing level. I felt that this would make the inn even more wonderful.

I stayed at the inn that I always dreamed of. The gate facing the main road and the building are more plain than I imagined. Was this the ryokan you longed for? is my first impression. However, from the moment we stepped into the entrance, the view of the icicles and Kazura Bridge through the window was wonderful, and we were all deeply moved. As expected! I have to say. Free drinks in the lobby are also very good. The room with an open-air bath is also wonderful, and the view from the room is also wonderful, so far 120 points. On the other hand, I forgot the room I was guided to, the perfume of the restaurant staff was too strong, and the appearance of preparing in the lobby early in the morning looked rough. The portion is large and very delicious, and the breakfast is also delicious along the river with a very nice view. If there is no minus, it is very disappointing that a first-class inn that can be awarded about 150 points will become a second-class or lower, and I think it should be improved. Looking back, I thought it was a ryokan that I could be satisfied with overall.

I searched for an inn in a secluded place that was a little difficult to access and found it. The altitude is high, and I think there are restrictions on cooking, but the number of items is varied! Every dish is seasoned elegantly and has a theme. As for the customer service, whether it is the guidance of the proprietress, the person in charge is well segregated, and the young employees are moderately but firmly considerate, making it a very satisfying trip! ! The kamakura festival as Yunishigawa Onsen has been canceled due to the new coronavirus, but at the ryokan, the mini kamakura is lit, and I enjoyed taking pictures there! ! thank you very much.
