Lovely historic building and fully renovated to include modern facilities. Beds were not overly soft. The front desk staff was extremely kind to help with the luggage up to second floor . In fact all the staff were friendly and helpful . Breakfast was plentiful and was set in a spacious dining room with view of the football fields. We also had dinner at the hotel and the lamb shank was tender and delicious. Plenty of free parking spaces. Highly recommend this hotel.

We booked the executive room. Room was pretty spacious, good service, few bathroom amenities were missing but all in all it was good.

Great room, very clean and large bathroom. Although for the size and price, no bathtub 🛁 which was shame. The room was very good otherwise. Service was a little slow at the front desk on check in, with only one person serving, who was on the phone when I arrived and four of us ended up waiting. With no one coming from the back office to assist even though there were people working there.

I did not expect that the hotel is actually in the distance good for walking including visiting Botanical Garden.

There is no air conditioning and the room has a strange smell. No proper maintenance

Beautiful, comfortable accommodation. Very quiet. Real homely feel. Will come back
