It certainly cannot be due to the friendliness of the staff. At least most of them, because why do you give a guest who comes in in a wheelchair and has difficulty walking a room for which he has to climb a staircase with narrow steps, knowing that there is also a dangerous step in the corridor above. Then you don't know much about hospitality yet! To be fair, someone offered another room after breakfast, but by then we had already finished with Fletcher Veldenbos. When you entered the room you were met with a musty, damp, moldy smell. The carpet rippled across the room. This one was also full of unclear spots that you better not think about. When we opened the windows we were afraid that they would fall out of the unpainted window frames. The building hasn't seen a paintbrush for at least 20 years (but probably longer). The wet room (because it cannot be called a bathroom) consists of a toilet at toddler height and when you use it, your knees are stuck under the sink. There is also a rain shower that floods the wet area when used because the shower screen cannot be moved with any option. Bumpy, lumpy beds make this a 3-star 'hotel room' according to Fletcher. One thing is clear: ambassador Mirna has never had her face filmed here!

Blood in bed sheets, old, mold everywhere, dirty rooms, noisy, indifferent staff and sagging beds. Do not book here! If you have to be in this region and are really in need of a place to sleep. A little further away is the town of Harderwijk, where you will find a homeless shelter where you will receive more hygiene than in this hotel.

Completely outdated hotel, completely dated, full of old junk, in urgent need of total renovation. Horrible carpeting throughout the hotel, on all stairs, in all hallways and rooms. Rooms only accessible via narrow stairs, unsuitable for the disabled. Room terribly small and poorly furnished. Very noisy. Bathroom dirty, shower can only be used by squeezing around the toilet bowl, after which you had to dry yourself in the shower, because you couldn't "turn your butt", but here in the literal meaning of the expression. The top floor is a maze of corridors, corners and extensions, a nightmare in the event of a fire outbreak. There is no map in our room with escape routes in the event of a fire. Minimal staffing, resulting in the necessary waiting time. Three-course menu: very poor value for money, not even worth half of what we paid. Only breakfast was okay, albeit messy. Never again to this hotel. Urgently not recommended.

Room 003 in the 'dependance' (separate from the hotel, not inside) is very small, normal rate was paid, very dated. Very clean. Hallway smelled strongly of air freshener (cover up?). Head office not service oriented at all. Old hotel, noisy, wooden floors, old, dingy carpet. Good breakfast. Very disappointed in Fletcher.

what a horrible old hotel. uneven floors that make you break your neck. extremely steep stairs to the top with a handrail that stops halfway. Christmas package booked....overbooked on Christmas Eve. Are you the only one who is put in the conservatory..... Sorry, but the restaurant is full. room too small, small cupboard in the room where you can hang 2 things. the rest of your clothes... take your pick, been there for 3 days... no clean towels, no hook to hang your coat... far too few staff, menu sp**** every 3 days; you put vegetables and potatoes in your hollow molar... just like that NEVER AGAIN

Restaurant visit September 7 with my 3 sisters. Table reserved. There was 1 waiting staff for hotel guests and for the restaurant. Very friendly, but clearly too much for what she had to do, although she remained friendly. Without asking we were given the menu, which was very brief. Afterwards it turned out to be for an AH promotion that we did not come for!! Taking the order took a very long time, serving it even longer if possible and the food (promotional menu) was not very tasty. The normal menu turned out (afterwards) to be a lot more attractive. In short, a lot of misunderstandings, far too long waiting times and bad food. Nothing to the detriment of the girl who did the entire ministry on her own. I'm afraid she collapsed after this evening and all 4 of us almost did too. NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

Unbelievable what an old gang is going to renovate or throw to the ground, but this is really no longer possible and in the evening a girl who has to single-handedly serve 50 guests at the check-in in the restaurant and bar, I don't know, management, but that's really not possible
