Friendly frontdesk, clean environment, good size clean room, decent breakfast.

Note to maintenance: There was substantial amount of black mold in bathroom and shower didnt drain properly.

Pool dirty, ice cold and gross. Hottub closed. Lady at front was on something or in the worst mood ever. Im a boss. Shed have lost her job that day if she was my staff. Management didnt even apologize she smirked amd didnt care. Yeah she got spoken to. Its fine. No big. Homeless everywhere. Not all that clean. But it was quiet. We booked this as our forst night away in years. And it was awful. We did however enjoy dinner out nearby. So there is that.

I made a last minute reservation at the Ramada after discovering that the hotel I had reserved had closed (without notice). I had stayed here years ago so knew the property, but a friend warned me it was a “little rough” these days. All was as I remembered it—big, high-ceiling room with great towels and overhead lights in necessary places, non-slip tub. Not sure what was meant by “rough” but the property is in need of updating especially when it comes to supporting current technology (no USB charging connections, lamps are dim and without plug-ins for devices). But the breakfast was still great (hot dishes changed each day from crepes to biscuits/gravy, great bacon!) and the staff was helpful and pleasant.

Clean and comfortable! We used the exercise equipment and enjoyed the complimentary breakfast, good selection of food.

This hotel was a great value for the money. The rooms were large, and the beds were comfortable. It was also very quiet. One thing though, I could not find a USB outlet for my cell phone charger, but I plugged my computer in and charged my phone by plugging into it.

our king size bed was too low resulting in difficulty standing up. It was so low that the mattress skirt was stacked on the floor. Otherwise the room and facilities were great.

I am writing today to tell you about my recent stay at the Ramada Olympia. The hotel check-in was the worst experience I have ever had at a hotel. Firstly, I called the front desk on Thursday 2/1 in the afternoon and asked for an early check-in on Friday 2/2. I told her that I would be arriving around 1:30 or 2:00 and asked if we could check-in at that time. She said that that would not be a problem at all since it was only an hour early. We arrived at the hotel at 2:00 and asked to check in and the girl at the desk said it would be $25 per room for early check in. I told her that I called the day before and was told it would not be a problem. She apologized for the wrong information and said it would be $25 per room since she only had 2 rooms that were ready for check-in. She was not friendly or helpful. We left and came back at 7pm to check-in. The front desk was empty and the girl working came in from the front doors and said "hold on, I'll be right there". She was the most unprofessional front desk agent I have ever experienced. As she walked around to the front desk she starting complaining about what a terrible night she has had. She asked for my ID and started to check us in and the phone rang. She YELLED "OH MY GOD!!! WHAT DO YOU WANT?!?!", then answered the phone very rudely and answered their questions with an abrupt yes and no answers.
