This was our 4th stay at the resort. The welcome by the lady who checked us in was less than welcoming and she could use some customer contact training. The rest of the staff were very good. The room itself was well appointed and clean. It was very difficult to get a suitable booking nearly 11 months ago and as we.found on arrival it is no longer a Resort but a mining company accommodation hotel. It should not be using the term ” Beach Resort ” in its advertising as it no longer resembles the title. Very disappointing and probably would not rebook or recommend.

Dinner here was very enjoyable. The menu had good variety of pub meals and reasonably priced. Had the rump steak special which was great. Garlic prawns were also pretty good. The pub is quite original and worth a visit to look at the historic photos.
