SpringHill Suites by Marriott Orlando Lake Buena Vista in Marriott Village

This was a terrible experience. 1. I confirmed with the hotel 2 days prior to my arrival they we would be there and they confirmed my reservation. 2. Date of arrival our flight got delayed. I contacted the hotel and confirmed my late arrival due to flight delay. They confirmed. 3. We arrive and the hotel didn’t have a room for us of the type we paid for. Fortunately they had a room but we’d have to move the next day. 4. We were compensated with free parking. That was appreciated. 5. Moved to our new room and the stench that came from the pullout bed cannot be described. It eas horrible. The entire room was filled by the pungent odor. Of course, this was discovered at night. 6. Spoke to the night manager and asked if they could swap the mattress out or change rooms and they said not likely. They gave me some points. Gee, that took care of the smell… 7. Next morning an older gentleman was on staff as manager and he was on it when I spoke with him. He had the maintenance crew in the room within 20 minutes. They took out the old mattress and replaced it with an almost new looking one. You get what you pay for. Though they resolved our issues we decided to leave half way thru our trip. It was not worth it. The rooms are not in good condition as they appear on their website. I appreciate their effort but to have to struggle with the staff multiple times, not worth it. We ended up staying at a WDW property with of course, we should have done since the beginning.

A major advantage is the convenient shuttle service, which operates smoothly and allows access to all Disney parks via a simple QR code scan. This makes transportation efficient and stress-free. However, the breakfast is a noticeable downside. It is quite basic, lacks variety, and remains the same every day, which can become repetitive during longer stays. It is also worth noting that the Disney parks are approximately a 20-minute drive from the hotel, which may be a consideration depending on your expectations for proximity. Overall, the hotel provides good value and convenience, particularly due to the shuttle service, but improvements in breakfast quality and variety would significantly enhance the experience.

After a 17 hour drive we were told they didn’t have our room. They pretended to upgrade us by moving us to the hotel across the street that sleeps 4 instead of 6. We had to request a roll away cot that was small and loud. The shuttle to Disney they advertised had to have been booked the day before, so we paid to uber and then four of our umbrellas were stolen from outside our door ( while drying) and the hotel did nothing. Horrible experience, no manager on duty, no follow through.

Our hotel room didn’t felt clean and it’s quite dark even when all lights were on. We had issues with our tv - it couldn’t be on, so we called the front desk and they said they’d send someone to fix it in 10mins, nobody came till the next morning lol. Only good thing about this hotel is the free breakfast it came with, it’s near disney and it has shuttle services.

Terrible experience. Even I prepaid my day. It didn’t have my room when I arrived. So I had to spend the night in a different kind of room. The next day I received the correct room, but It has terrible mattresses so we spent that night but I asked for a change of room at the other day finally we were moved to another room, but the air conditioner didn’t work. In average this has been the worst hotel I have Stayed.
