Clarion Inn & Suites Across from Universal Orlando Resort

It was a convenient stay not far front the Universal Orlando Resort. The hotel has a pool and recreation area. Cleaning was only when you asked for it. In my opinion, it lacked a kitchenette. Overall, we enjoyed our stay there.

I figured my room would be like the picture with the small sofa- it was your standard room with 2 queen beds. Wish that it would have clarified that not all rooms have the sofa .

Nice location. That was near the Universal Studio Florida, so we enjoyed our vacation.

It was good and it had good service. The room was very clean and in good condition.

This is a moderate hotel. Not fancy, but very clean and very convenient. And surprisingly, even the in-room coffee was quite good and I am picky about coffee! What made it stand out for us was the wonderful staff - from the front desk to the restaurant. Everyone was helpful and friendly. It was a quick walk to or from Universal theme parks, and the transportation was also on-time and quick. It did get crowded at times, but the Clarion was the first stop for pick up, so plenty of room at that time. The best shout-out goes to the front desk and housekeeping staff. My only recommendation would be slightly heavier inner curtains, as those are quite sheer, but the outer, heavier ones don't fully close. But that was minor. I accidentally left a pricey Apple Watch on the nightstand. The housekeeping staff found it and promptly took it to the front desk. I sent them a return mailing label and they posted it within HOURS. As a point of reference, many years ago stayed at a high end hotel in the Washington DC area and accidentally left my jewelry pouch in a drawer. I knew exactly where it was left, but housekeeping disavowed ever seeing it. Somewhere someone is wearing a gold bracelet and earrings that had much sentimental value for me. The Clarion staff showed great integrity in handling this incident. I highly recommend this budget hotel for your stay.

Only at Universal for the day and a perfect place to stay. I was able to park, walk to the park and came to checkin after a full day. Clean, friendly and quiet accommodation

The hotel is totally different from pics , old , poor , dirty, never come again! But the staffs are nice!
