Cambria Hotel Orlando Universal Blvd New Property Reviews

My girlfriend and I stayed for a week. The location is great as we were able to walk to universal both times we went. The room was very clean, and despite other claims from other reviews we had fast, hot water each time we showered or used the faucets. The room service comes on the 3rd day which they indicate to you when you check in. Overall, it’s incredible for you if you are traveling to Orlando and don’t want to spend a fortune on a hotel!

While Checking in one of the guys was very rude, besides this the hotel is very good and in a very good area

We travel 3-4 times a month and book at different places. We chose this hotel because it appeared to be newer and the price was right. Well that all changed when we arrived. The hotel stated parking was included but apparently that’s only for the first 13 people who arrive because the parking lot was so laughably small that you couldn’t possibly park there unless you were lucky to find someone leaving. We arrived at 10pm and of course not many people leave at that time. When we walked in to ask the front desk about parking the front desk staff walked outside and laughably gave us the option to park along the curbs in the fire lanes or in their “overflow lot” which was behind a tall white fence in a shopping plaza across the street that had signs telling you it was customers only. The shopping plaza was surrounded by not so appealing store fronts with lots of people meandering around. He then stated we could park in some other areas that were farther away but they were only available 6pm-8:30am. They couldn’t guarantee my car would be safe or not towed. Plus why would we want to walk at 10:30 at night with our two young kids a far distance with our luggage in a not so appealing area of town? We decided not to stay and we chose to drive 3hrs home instead of staying at that hotel. The front desk staff were rude when asked about refund options and when I went through ******* (who were great) the hotel still declined. What a joke! Don’t offer things you can’t provide! Horrible.

I'm extremely happy about my choice of hotel. Walking distance from Universal Studios, good variety of restaurants again at walking distance, nice view from the hotel's pool/bar area on the rooftop, good service from the hotel staff. The best experience I've had in a while! They even were able to change the weather forecasts for me! 🙂

The property was great and the price was very good. Some of the surrounding properties were vacant leaving a bit of an unsettling feeling in terms of safety. We returned from our concert around midnight and all the parking was taken, so that was a bit of a concern. Still it was a nice hotel and the staff very accommodating and polite.

The property was overall amazing, I had a very great experience checking in, very helpful and friendly. The room was clean, and the aesthetic is new & fresh. The rooftop bar & pool are a pleasant place to be, they offer a 24 hour pool table and gym. The downside is the parking, it’s very limited and not exclusive to the hotel, the area itself could be better but it’s in a convenient spot for access to outside activity. Overall a wonderful experience. Such a good vibe.

Really liked this fusion hotel. It was welcoming and fresh coming in and the rooms are updated and clean... A closet with some hangs and shelves, otherwise no drawers in the room.. so you're living out of your suitcase. Great location only 6 minutes from Universal.. Dennys and I-Hop like right there... and they have this rooftop pool thing going that works.

Easy speedy check in. Staff was pleasant. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Very close to universal/islands and city walk.

The hotel was clean, as soon as you walk in the lobby smells so nice, rooms roomy, nice decor, great location. The only thing they are missing are iron boards and irons.

The stay would have been perfect if the room had an iron and ironing board and the room had been a little bit bigger. It was a little cramped. Other than that it was very nice and had comfy beds. Would stay again.

The hotel is clean but the air fresheners are used in excess, I found the smell very offensive. There is an issue with hot water, you have to run it for a veeery long time before it gets warm enough for a shower- this can’t be good when we should be thinking about preserving water. Parking always available.

This was the perfect escape from the theme park crowds. It allowed my boyfriend and I to enjoy our time together before heading out on our adventures. The front desk staff were extremely friendly and helpful. It was auch a great perk to have 24/7 text communication with the house cleaning staff as well. The breakfast buffet was awesome and better priced/quality than the theme parks without having to fight the lines and crowds first thing in the morning. The rooftop pool/bar had alot of potential. We were here for 10 days and will plan to stay here again in the future. It made the vacation that much more enjoyable. 10/10 highly recommend!

Staff is amazing and very helpful. Roof top pool was a plus although we were under the impression it was heated and not nearly enough lounge chairs. There were only three. Area around seemed a bit desolate but it was very close to universal which was nice

I really like this hotel. It is very clean and quiet. I has multiple fun options to do, also it is close to universal studios.
