I was a little nervous to stay here after recent reviews, I'm not sure if I was lucky with the room I got or if others look for more to complain about...but I could fault it. I have previously stayed at the Avanti Hotel but recent reviews there put me off staying. Yes the rooms are dated, most of these motel type hotels are, but the room was spotless which to me is the most important thing. We had taken some wipes to clean down surfaces etc just to be cautious but every wipe came up clean, top marks! Everything in the room worked as expected, fridge was good as was the microwave. Excellent location, we didn't use the pool but it looked good. Only slight issue was the Hurricane, the fire alarm went off twice as a false alarm...but these things happen. & there was some water leakage into the room from the door, which by our last day had caused a not very pleasant smell. But I'm not blaming the hotel for this & I assume they would have had a way to resolve this had we been staying longer & mentioned it! Our room was in block 3000, top floor facing the pool, no issues with noise - I doubt any room facing the pool would have an issue. Good view from the top floor too over to Volcano Bay. Happy to recommend the hotel for couples, families etc. I'd certainly be happy to stay here again for a future Orlando holiday!

It's a regular motel. I stayed here while visiting Universal Studios. It's clean inside and it's about a 30 minute walk to Universal. There is also a bus that takes you to the park across the street, so it's convenient.

We had read good things about this hotel and thought we would give it a try. It’s in a good spot for Universal Studios, it has free parking and a free shuttle to Universal if you need it. There are lots of restaurants within walking distance and the Premium outlets are not too far away. We didn’t use the hotel restaurant but one of us did have a Hotdog one day which resulted in them not being able to leave the toilet for a few hours! The lady who prepared it heated the frozen sausage up in the oven then put it straight into a freezing cold, straight from the fridge bun, then she said “ oh the buns really cold, could you heat it up in the microwave?!”. I have to say that during our stay we had the worst customer service we have had in any hotel we have stayed in in Florida. When we checked in the guy at reception was not overly friendly and when we checked out I went to the desk and asked the lady if we needed to do anything to check out, she said “ what room number?” then “no”. I thanked her and she completely ignored me and put her hand out for the door cards. No “ thank you for staying here/ have a safe flight home, etc. She just stared at me. It’s definitely worth paying a couple of hundred pounds more and you will definitely get a much better hotel with much better service. We were very disappointed.

Booked 2 rooms: a family one for 5 of us, and a small room for 2. The girl at the front desk sent us 5 to the small room. I realized her mistake after arriving with the whole family and luggage at the 8th floor in building 8 at the other end of the hotel. Had to get all luggage back to the car, go to front desk, change room keys...all of this after long traveling was not fun at all.

Staff greeted warmly and coffee was served in the room. (but the coffee machine needs cleaning)
It is very convenient to have ice cube machines on each floor.
There are multiple washing machines and dryers in the laundry room, each for three dollars. It's six dollars to wash and dry.
Great location, close to everywhere.
There are too few shuttle buses to the park, and UBER to the park is about ten dollars.

The room is not big and the carpet is stained.
During this trip, I stayed in several hotels for 30 days.
Generally speaking, the cleanliness of hotels above three stars in the United States is much worse than that in Asia.
We stayed for 3 nights and although we couldn't see any insects, my husband and I both had multiple red bumps (like insect bites).
Although it claims to have a connection to the park, there are only one or two departures a day. UBER is recommended.

The Floridian charges an extra $9 once you arrive to check in. Consider this in figuring out the total price of staying here. This hotel is being bought out by Baymont by Wyndham. Hopefully, they update this hotel. The beds are comfortable and I enjoyed the bedding. However, the headboard is green and dated. Also, any scratches to the headboard cause it to peel and scratch off. The bathroom is not up to date. Pipes were showing and there was rust on the bathtub appliances. The last complaint that I have is that there was no plug-in by the lamp or bed and the biggest problem is with the charger just falling out of the plug-ins that were available. So, you know the plug-in is working when it holds the charger snugly and it doesn't fall out. However, the rates for the hotel that I was staying at increases on the weekends, (like most any hotels do), and so, I decided to stay here during the weekend, and transfer back to my preferred hotel of choice when the weekdays start again. I will say this hotel is totally do-able. It's not completely filthy or nasty or anything like that. It just really needs updating, especially the green headboards need replacing. And you can find an outlet that works in the room, it just isn't usually convenient and located where one usually would like to plug in a charger, like by the lamp by the bed or the wall outlet by the bed. And of course, the rust on the bathroom fixtures was an eyesore. Hopefully, that will get fixed when the transfer is complete to Baymont by Wyndham. Last, but certainly not least, but the hotel staff are very friendly and that does make a difference in your experience.

Much better than 1st time. Hotel is under remodel.. They just finished their pool and it looks great.. They're working on the roof. The rooms still need some work. But they are coming a long way. Price is right. There is a deposit which is I believe $50. You do get it back and roughly about 7 to 10 days depending on your credit card. It is not pet friendly unless you have a service dog. Hotel is right before the Orlando health Doctor Phillips. Rooms come with a microwave and a Mini refrigerator. They do serve a breakfast that you must eat out front. You cannot take it back to your room. All their handicapped rooms or on the 1st floor.

This hotel is worth 5🌟 ❤️The hotel is very new and the environment is very good. The gym and swimming pool have all the facilities and are very new and advanced. There is also a VR game hall. However, there is a bar on the roof. The scenery is super good. You can see the volcano. ) ❤️The price is relatively low. This hotel is a hotel of Universal Studios. You can send an express card to other hotels. You are really new and cheap. ❤️ Location is quiet, although not in the City walk, but next to volcano bay, it is a good choice for volcano bay to play with the water. Every day there is a shuttle bus to and from other parks. ❤️ Hotel lobby has Starbucks. The buffet is also great. There is also a car rental counter. It’s very convenient, but the temporary car rental is really expensive. 💔The only reason for this deduction is that we have no parking. The last credit card is deducted from the parking fee. After returning, it is not helpful to pass the Ctrip and the other party.
