Masseria Cervarolo

Fantastic beautiful hotel no words can describe the wonders of Masseria Cervarolo. We were serenaded under the moonlight by guitar song whilst eating grilled seafood and sipping on wine. We stayed for 3 nights. First the staff was exceptional. From the welcoming helpful office staff, to Alexander who helped with our luggage to the team that served us breakfast to Paulo at the pool everyone was great. Our room was simple but comfortable. The breakfast here is amazing. Really good. The pool was glorious. We took a cooking class with a gentleman ( I think he name starting with an A and he is German) and the chef( I cannot remember his name either) both were wonderful and the class was a lot of fun. We never did the tasting menu at the hotel because we would typically go out for late lunches so we just wanted something light for dinner. Instead we would go back out for dinner in towns not too far away. They recommended Osteria Del Coco Pazzo (hands down the best Orecchiette with tomato sauce we had in 3 weeks in Italy, ) and we loved it for lunch. We also went to Osteria Bel Italia in Cisterino for dinner and loved it too.

The staff was phenomenal, the location perfect for visiting several beautiful towns in the area, Alberobello and Ostuni to name a few. The breakfast was delicious with so many choices. The whole facility was spotless and the pool area so inviting. I highly recommend Masseria Cervarolo for your visit to Puglia area.

Everything about this Masseria was charming. Lovely staff, extremely beautiful grounds and very cute, rustic, thoughtfully presented rooms. Highly recommended!! We especially loved the nearby towns of Cisternino and Locorotondo. And the gorgeous countryside

The grounds were simply beautiful.The staff was so friendly and super helpful.The breakfast was beyond extraordinary! The room was great and the bed was so comfy.On our check out day we had to leave before breakfast so they even gave us capachino to go and packed a lunch for us👍Wow

A beautiful and charming Masseria with a beautiful pool, and located in the wonderful countryside of Puglia very near to Ostuni. The wine tasting was enlightening, the free cooking class fun, the olive tasting visit to a historic Masseria outstanding, the breakfast satisfying and the personnel and service top notch. Overall a great value and highly recommended.

Great location for exploring the towns and villages in the surrounding area. The staff couldn’t do more to help and really delivered exceptional service. We ate in one evening and the food was excellent and Alfonso was brilliant in providing local wine suggestions. A real highlight. The common room is beautiful and provided a lovely place to relax and escape the weather. The grounds are stunning and I’m sure in the summer months even more so. During our stay we did a cooking class which was great fun, wine tasting which gave us a great summary of local wine varieties. I also had a massage which was the most relaxing massage I’ve ever had. We stayed in a triple suite as it was the only room available when we booked. I have to say, out of season, I didn’t feel it was really value for money unless you fully max out the occupancy of the room. The shower in the bathroom was small, with very little room and enclosed by a shower curtain that kept sticking to you. It would have been a nice touch in the cooler months to be provided with slippers as the floor was quite cold. We were shown how to work the heating - which we used as the weather was poor - but it would have been good if this had been turned on a few minutes before our arrival (especially as our arrival time was known) as it took some time to warm up. Finally, and a comment which others have made, there are no tea and coffee making facilities in the room. Tea and coffee is available in the common room but for a charge.

This place is magical. If you’re lucky enough to have the opportunity to stay here, do it. The staff will become your family away from home. The food is unbelievable, unique and made with love. Listen to Alfie for all your wine suggestions, he will not steer you wrong. If you can, take the cooking class we had so much fun! The pool is beautiful and all the rooms are different. We stayed in the sheep barn and highly recommend it!

The property was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for relaxation. Paolo at the lounge was the perfect host, had great wine recommendations and made great *****nis. A very comfortable stay great for friend groups. Breakfast and dinner were very good too. Property has two beautiful dogs which made me feel very much at home.
