"We only stayed one night but would loved to have stayed another night. The room was lovely clean and tidy. There is plenty of grounds you can sit at with various seats scattered around. There is a lovely swimming pool with a glass roof with sun beds to sit around. Water was lovely temperature. Angela our host could not do enough for us. He is so friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was included which had several homemade cakes. There was a variety of food to choose from. Angelo suggested stopping at a town called Cisternino on way to our next destination. It did not disappoint it was really pretty cobbled lanes with various shops and restaurants. We ate at Bestoke which was very nice - only a few tables."

"This is one of my favourite places I have stayed in as a solo traveller - I absolutely loved it. I spent 4 nights here in high season, to visit friends but I was also working remotely - the wifi and AC were great for this, which was really important to me. The building is perfectly located and presented: in an historical building but with modern interiors and design. The bed was extremely comfortable and I love the layout and amentities. It was also a very quiet street. Breakfast was fab, especially the pastries and the staff (Silvia in particular who organised a late check in and airport taxi for me) were very lovely and accommodating. I would 100% stay here again, the bar is now set very high!"

Borgo Del Tempo Ritrovato - Luxury Relais in Puglia

"It took us a while to navigate to the property via Google Maps. After a few scenic turns, we found the resort manager waiting patiently on the main road to lead us to the property via a narrow (drive carefully) private road. We booked the accommodation during the low season and were the only resort guests. It's just the two of us, but the chef prepared a sumptuous breakfast spread enough for ten people! As the only guests, we are very well looked after during our stay—an unforgettable experience. P.S. The view from our room is breathtaking! Go check it out yourself."

Masseria Valente

"After reading numerous positive reviews about Masseria Valente, I was disappointed with our 2 night stay. First of all the rooms are right infront of the restaurant (so it isn't quiet) On our second night there was a party of 50 people and the music was blasting through our room until midnight with so much noise (not what you want when you have a baby) This was a huge let down. I had to complain at midnight because it was unbearable. The shower in the room was cold until about 3 pm, and our stove did not work, and we had to use a match to light it. Quite honestly the staff were not friendly..not a good morning nor a smile and when I complained about the noise and the shower, they were totally disinterested. The pool is nice and big, the breakfast is fine with lots of choice (you couldn't eat outside because it was full of wasps, but not their fault though) The rooms are clean but small. The setting is pretty, set in the olive groves, but I came back home feeling totally un relaxed, having not slept due to the noise. I think the price we paid was way too much. However, it is August, so that is probably why. We won't be coming back here."

"We had such an amazing stay at Vista Ostuni, and the staff truly made it so special from the minute we arrived. A huge thank you to Viviana, Umberto, and Valeria at reception, Valentino at the bar, and Mary, Tania, Pasquale, and Giuseppe at the restaurant for being so kind and welcoming throughout our trip. Everyone went above and beyond, especially with our kids, which made our stay even more memorable. We felt so well taken care of and genuinely looked forward to seeing everyone each day. This is definitely a hotel we’ll be coming back to, and we can’t recommend it enough!"

"The hotel has a large slope, making it inconvenient to drag suitcases up. The room was older than expected, and the bathroom was very small, making it difficult to turn around. The room facilities were overpriced."

"This was a great location for us to celebrate our Golden Wedding Anniversary. Beautiful, peaceful hotel with really excellent staff. For us, the vegetarian restaurant was the only drawback. We still enjoy wholesome Italian food, & therefore on some nights we drove off to restaurants on the nearby coast or nearby villages. Breakfast was outstanding & the pizza restaurant also ticked our boxes. We would like to mention the excellent Lucia & Asia from the staff, but the overall level of attention to detail was outstanding. Clean bedsheets every day, with clean towels TWICE a day. On many occasions, we were the only people around the pool - perfect!! Would highly recommend this hotel, but a car is essential & evening meals are for a certain taste. Would we return? Without a doubt."

"Wow. What a quirky place. Very well maintained considering it once was part of a small monastery. Gloria was very friendly, helpful and informative. Such a fab find. We also had access to the citrus garden with table and chairs to relax in which was well needed as it was so hot. Definitely worth a visit."
