Quiet and spacious place to stay and to enjoy the asilomar beach nearby. Highly recommended.

Strange check in on time but no one there and no bell. Had to call them to get someone from the back to come to door. Otherwise fine stay.

It's a small courtyard with about a dozen rooms and free parking. The kitchen is mini and the facilities seem a bit old, but the bedding and towels are fairly clean. The front desk offers coffee, tea, hot water, and free handmade cookies 🍪, which are delicious. Bagels 🥯 are also available in the morning. The beach is just a few minutes' walk away for watching the sunset. Monterey feels quieter than Carmel and has more natural scenery. You can go to Lover's Spot to watch the sunrise in the morning.

More like a vacation apartment than a motel room, in beautiful gardens, very close to the beaches and the waterfront promenade with otters, pelicans and seals (on the way to Cannery Row). Good starting point for 17 Miles Drive.

My favorite American garden hotel with plenty of parking spaces

It was past nine o'clock when we arrived at the hotel, and the office was closed. Remember to call the office in advance. They will leave the room number and key card in an iron mailbox next to the office door. It's easy to see. The location of the hotel is very convenient, and the self-driving supermarket is also very close. The price I set is probably not expensive around here, and I think it's pretty good.

Nice hotel near the ocean. The rooms have everything you need. I really liked that there were dishes, a microwave and a wine opener. We sat very comfortably in our room in the evening with a bottle of American Pinot Noir. Check-in and check-out are quick and convenient. The only downside is that there isn't much nearby. You need to drive to the nearest cafe or store. But overall the hotel left a very favorable impression.
