My partner and I booked a 6 night 7 day holiday here. It’s started today. We have already experienced a shed load of disappoin**ent. After booking 3 months in advance, paying nearly €1500 in total to get to the hotel we were given a ground floor room with 0 sea view over looking a children’s play area that provides 0 privacy. The bath was dirty and when we asked to be relocated we were completely fobbed off and effectively told to suck it up. In my booking I explained and gave the hotel notice that this was a very important and special trip as we’re celebrating our 3rd anniversary and my birthday in the same week. Specifically asking for a sea view or upper floor. Instead we get neither. I’m writing this review with the intent that the R2 hotels group write me a formal apology giving at the very least a partial if not full refund. This is unacceptable from a “4 star hotel”

So we went as a group of 4 girls and we had the best time, we ourselves are Northern Irish. The hotel itself looks far better than in the photos we got a hire car from Auto riesen and it was a very easy drive, there was plenty of free parking outside. On arrival there was a welcome drink of cava, we may have had 2 lol. The reception staff were friendly particulay Andrea. The hotel has lovely facilities and has access directly onto a wee beach which again is beautiful. The hotel had a good range of food with reasonable quality. I travelled with a vegan and a vegetarian and they found loads to eat. The hotel I believe is German run and the majority of folks staying are German we felt this added to our trip, everyone was respectful and kept themselves to themselves and the hotel operated with precision.. all wants catered for.. I suppose it depends what you want from a holiday we wanted peace and quiet, plenty to drink and eat with good scenery and we got it. We are booking for next year again. Maybe if you prefer a livelier nightlife it isn't the place for that but for rest and recuperation it is great We forced ourselves to leave the hotel and drove up the mountains to Pajara we had a great day out.. All and all a lovely experience The squirrels at the back of the hotel are great too

We have just arrived at the hotel yesterday. It is predominantly German guests but that’s not a problem. The food so far has been good. Reception staff are lovely and so helpful. The room is lovely and comfortable. We still have more to discover. The reason we only gave a three is the bartender in the pool bar is very abrupt and dismissive, we don’t know if that’s because we are new, or British. There is no drinks menu so we have no idea what to ask for. Every request for our choice of drink has been an abrupt no. We will go and see reception today and see what drinks we can ask for as we have no idea!

absolutely fantastic, only stayed for a couple of days and they flew buy as there was so much to do. whilst exploring the massive resort, we tested out the spar facilities (amazing), made good use of the bar, enjoyed the pool and looked round the many shops. food was very tasty with a very big variety for picky eaters and all the staff were very kind and attentive. some reviews felt as though british people were somewhat ‘singled out’ and judged - i can assure you that neither me or my mother (british) felt like that: all staff were extremely welcoming.

If you wanted to criticise the hotel you probably could find a few things to do it for, but to be honest, the hotel ticked all of our boxes. Great location with its own access to the beach, even though a little patch of it, but enough to enjoy the ocean swims. Comfortable big rooms with separate rooms for kids! Having 2 bathrooms made a huge difference! Amazing yummy food. The chefs cater for everyone! The restaurant has an indoor and outdoor terrace. Lunch can also be eaten by the pool from the pool bar buffet. Helpful reception staff that solved all our problems and dealt with issues quickly. Great pools and well looked after gardens! We will definitely come back again!

We visited R2 Pajara in the second week of May in 2024. We picked this hotel as it seemed to be well liked by others, had free parking and promised better weather than Majorca given the time of year. The hotel was easy to find on Apple Maps and we made our way there in the hire car (See other reviews for 'GoldCar'), arriving at about 22.00. There weren't any parking spaces left, so I left the car next to another one and then moved it into a bay the next morning. Staff were happy with this. Checking in was nice and simple, with no need to hand over passports etc as we'd checked in online. The receptionist explained the hotel layout, gave us a map and said that as we were a late arrival, there would be some cold meats and bread in one of the bars if we'd like. We were tired so went straight to our room and to bed, lulled to sleep by the sound of a traditional band playing on the pool bar decking.. Room We had booked an 'ocean view' room, and got exactly that. It was close to the main pool, had a lovely view of the sea and was clean and tidy on arrival. The mattress was firm and we requested extra pillows which arrived the same day. The cleaners visited every day between 09.00 and 12.00, and did a grand job. The room had a tv with various international channels (none of the British ones worked), a good wifi signal, fridge, balcony and bathroom. The bathroom was clean, plenty of room to store toiletries and the shower was great - very hot and powerful. The only downside was that due to bath being quite low water would run out onto the floor and make a fair puddle. Pool The hotel has 2 pools - an upper pool within the courtyard area, and the main pool. The staff were out cleaning the pool before 08.00 each day, with one particularly attentive member who would dive in to retrieve leaves. There are loads of sun loungers, and people will start going to put their towels down from around 07.30. There are signs saying you cannot reserve sun loungers - this is not enforced. Most pairs of loungers have a parasol for shade. It can get a bit windy by the pool, but that can't be helped. The pool itself was clean and 1.50m at its deepest point. There is an 'infinity' section that overlooks the sea in one area. The pool bar is easily accessed and open from 10.30 until 18.00. There are collared doves (pigeons), lizards and ground squirels (not chipmunks) around the grounds, and even a really angry looking cat but they don't cause any issues. From the pool you can easily access the beach which was quiet and nice. Food and Drink This is one area that I felt let the hotel down. That said, there will always be something to eat, especially if you like chips and salad. In terms of the main restaurant it was all self-service buffet, breakfast was fairly standard - odd sausages and bacon, cereals, eggs, bread, fruit and pastries. Also tea and coffee. Lunch was similar every day, an assor**ent of meats, rice, pasta, soup, cold meats and dessert. Dinner was usually th

Ok so good points first , I’ve been around the world and i believe that for hospitality the Spanish do it best .Food was great , all inclusive can be bland but the kitchen staff in this hotel were excellent every meal had something for everyone , and I can’t praise them enough. The location is great, it’s got space and tranquility with sunrises that are so special . You will always see cleaners keeping the hotel clean and tidy. And the staff overall are friendly and accommodating. It’s a big hotel and a huge operation to keep guests happy. The pools and gardens are awesome Bad points , The hotel itself is tired especially the room decor it’s desperately in need of a refurbishment., basically it’s been battered by its popularity. We stayed in a Royal suite so the best rooms with a large balcony. €1400 for 7 nights so not a cheap room . But it really shows it’s scars … you will get bottled water and coffee on your first night and no more which for a 4 * and the price we paid was a little disappointing. Everyone has different opinions on beds and firmness ours was good but found the pillows very thin which made it not so easy to sleep. All in all a good hotel that is trying really hard but it needs updating ASAP.

5/5, extremely nice staff, great views from the room, hotel is modern. Beach is few mins away, there are always available beach beds next to pools. Dining area is large and not crowded, food variety is good. Night events were fun. Can recommend.
