We had an incredible stay at Amaranthe.. The manager Mayuran arranged the superior room although we only booked minutes before we arrived to Trinco. We loved the food especially the buffet breakfast and Dilakshan made amazing cocktails in the evening. The pool was clean and relaxing to be in and I also booked in a facial which was professionally done by Putri. I wish remembered all the staff members, as they were all so friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to stay at this place. A true holiday feeling at Amaranthe.

The staff was kind and professional, ever ready to assist and engage. The room with the jacuzzi and palm tree view was one of the best part of the stay. The amenities did not disappoint. The kayaking trip was peaceful and should be a must do. Overall experience was great and I definitely recommend.

From the moment we entered this hotel we were made to feel so welcome by Roshan on reception. Then we stepped into our upgraded very luxurious room and were blown away. Panoramic windows provided a fabulous view of the lagoon and beautiful scenery with the addition of a gorgeous jacuzzi bath which sadly we had no time to use. Service at the pool bar was excellent as was the service in the restaurant. Try the seafood platter you will not regret it. Crab, prawns, cuttle fish, tuna etc all cooked to perfection. We would recommend this hotel to everyone who visits Trincomalee.

We spent two nights at Amaranthe Bay and it was an enjoyable stay. A junior suite on the ground floor with the beautiful view of the lagoon from the patio or your own jacuzzi was a great experience. Though the hotel was not by the sea if had its own charm. The food on the buffet and the set menu was excellent for all palates. Although we did not have a dinner buffet I recommend tasting the local cuisine on the breakfast buffet. It was a pleasure to meet Kirujan, Chaturanga and Soothan who served during our stay. They were attentive and respectful. Overall a great stay!

We had an incredible stay at Amaranthé Bay, from the moment we arrived the staff were on hand to help in any way possible. Thank you Mayuran and Priurn for giving us 5* treatment from the moment we arrived right until we departed. The room was spacious and clean with a beautiful view of the river and the jacuzzi bath was a perfect way to relax at the end of the day. We took a trip in a canoe to watch the sun start to set which I’d highly recommend to truly enjoy the scenery. The food was great with a selection of buffet options for breakfast and numerous al la carte options for dinner, all of which looked so delicious we struggled to decide each night. Special thanks to Dhanushi and Karthik who really looked after us for breakfast/dinner.

We had a fantastic stay at this beautiful hotel. It's a relatively small hotel meaning the staff are very attentive and in particular Chathuranga and Lasantha were very helpful throughout our stay. The pool is amazing, especially at sunset and the surrounding grounds of the hotel are also very nice. We stayed in the junior suites which have an amazing jacuzzi with great views. The food was excellent as was the service. We would gladly come back again!!

We had the most wonderful stay at this hotel. Firstly the staff were amazing. The manager Praveen was extremely welcoming and helpful when we arrived and ensured we were comfortable. Catering manager Karthik and the staff members Kirujan and the rest of the team were also very pleasant and made sure we were very well fed at breakfast!! Special thanks to the boat ride team as well, would definitely recommend the experience. You get a lovely view of the sunset and a relaxing boat ride in the lagoon beside the hotel. You are guaranteed to enjoy your stay at this hotel.

Lovely stay at Amaranthé Bay. Top notch service by the entire staff, led by Mr Mayuran. The room was clean and spacious, the views of and access to the lagoon was charming. Went kayaking amidst the mangroves and it was surreal. The food was delicious in the restaurant and the bar is very pretty to sit around in and have a nice evening. The hotel is close to a lot of other bars and restaurants and close to the beach as well. Would recommend staying here, particularly for the excellent service
