"A great hotel!!! We spent 7 nights there. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and helpful. They cooked large shrimp for us and took us to Marble Beach, for an additional fee, of course. Breakfasts weren't very varied, but they were generous and filling. The hired help, a tall young man, was very helpful with our baby, playing with him while we ate. He even asked to be held. The girls who prepared our breakfast were also very sweet and kind. Our room was on the third floor, and we had the entire veranda to ourselves. It was very convenient for playing with the baby, hanging up wet clothes, looking at the stars, or drinking morning coffee. My husband smoked. The location is also good—third building from the beach. The beach is quite clean, much cleaner than in the tourist area of ​​Uppuvelli. There are plenty of fruit stalls and cafes nearby where locals eat—not as Instagrammable as tourist restaurants, but still delicious and three times cheaper. Cons: - There's no place to hang clothes in the room—no closet, no hooks, nothing to hang clothes on—we had a mountain of clothes in our suitcase and around it. We hung a lot of clothes on the veranda. - There was always a pack of local stray dogs by the fence; they're harmless but noisy. - There's no hot water. While it was cloudy, showering was uncomfortable, but it was fine later. - The WiFi is poor; I had better reception on the veranda. - There's no TV. It wasn't advertised, of course, but it was boring to wait out the midday sun without one. We're unlikely to return here again due to the wide variety of hotels, but for less demanding travelers, the place is perfectly fine."

My friends and myself had a stay here for 02 days which were simply amazing. I liked the interior of the room and the bathroom with all the necessities can't complain. The food was great. Additionally, the pool access, beach close by only few minutes of walk from the resort and all the other activities lined up for you will definitely keep you occupied and get the maximum benefit in terms of having a great time with your loved ones alongside exploring the city. A special mention to the managment and all the staffs who are very welcoming !!! One of the great places I've visited, the experience we had was top notch! "A terrible experience. Our plan was to relax and do PADI diving, so we booked for three nights with a 24-hour cancellation policy. The room was awful; it smelled damp, crows were croaking on the ceiling, and it was very noisy. The window wouldn't even open. The room was actually more expensive than many other options in Upuveli or other more interesting areas. The worst part is that we only stayed one night and canceled the other two because they didn't give us any trouble. They told us they would refund our money, then excused themselves by saying that Booking.com's policies didn't allow it. A complete lie. Then they said they would refund it but that they weren't a big hotel and couldn't afford such excuses. Two weeks later, we're still waiting for a refund of about €80. Day after day, they keep giving us the runaround, saying they've gone to the bank and the transfer should be arriving soon, but we never get an answer. I don't recommend this place so you don't have the same bad experience we did. The room we were assigned was nothing like the ones shown in the pictures on ***********, TripAdvisor, or Google. There's nothing around, and few restaurants. The receptionist was very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The cancellation and refund process was terrible."

Best beach so far with fisherman doing their daily catch which you can watch from breakfast, cows roaming the beach which is awesome to see. Beautiful pool with bungalows, the rooms were so large and impressive, great relaxed vide, fantastic service, good food menu with reasonable prices, considering the remoteness of this place the food available was great. volley ball net right out the front was good for a friendly game, with a nice Pina Colada 🍸 Would highly recommend."

"This is a new small guest house (ca. 8 rooms) in Nilaveli. It's on a side road with no traffic and hardly any neighbours - very quiet at night! It's a 10-minute walk to the lovely Nilaveli beach, all on side roads with no traffic, passing typical Sri Lankan houses with the occasional cow on the road. The beach is beautiful there, you can walk along it for a long distance. The room was very large with a double bed, bedside tables, shelves to keep stuff, plenty of hangers and clothes rack. There was AC and fan for cooling. The room had 17 plugs! The bathroom is very spacious, no wet floors all over when taking a shower. There is also a nice sitting area in front of the room to relax. Everything is spotless clean. The hotel was completed just before the Covid outbreak. Right now there is no hot water or TV but I guess that will be put once the guests start arriving. The owner is on site and makes sure that everybody is comfortable. He has worked in a luxury hotel before and knows what he is doing. The food was simply amazing. You discuss your food desires in the morning and they go shopping and prepare it freshly for you. Delicious! We definitely will come back here."

"The location is fantastic, the room overlooking the bay is excellent, with a table set with tea bags, sugar, and, a rarity, glasses in sterile paper bags. Dinner was delicious and not overly expensive. Everything seemed fine. But - as long as there is a manager you can talk to who will give instructions to the staff. We couldn't get a second towel. In the evening, we ordered breakfast for 7:30 in the morning so we could leave early. Until 8:00, we couldn't find anyone at either the restaurant or reception. Then we managed to catch some half-asleep guy, I don't even know who he was. We reminded him about breakfast, he ran in, and 15 minutes later, instead of an English breakfast, he brought an undercooked egg, toast, margarine and jam, and half a tangerine. We also ordered one extra coffee, since we were sure coffee was included in the breakfast. But in the end, two coffees were charged separately. I don't mind spending the money, but cheating over trivial details is somehow unsightly and damages the hotel's image. We won't be going again. Although, I repeat, the room and view are excellent."

"Rest in August with your family. The hotel liked it. The staff was very friendly and responsive. Every request was responded and tried to help. The hotel is clean. The shower is warm. Breakfast is standard. You will not stay hungry. The Nilaveli Beach is about 400 to 500 meters from the hotel. Go along the road, not critical. We were two days, discomfort we didn't feel. For a couple of days the hotel is recommended."

"The hotel is nice. The room is small, but there's a TV, hairdryer, and kettle. There's no refrigerator, if anyone needs one. No complaints about the hotel. However, the hotel claims they didn't advertise on Trip.com. We paid for a room with breakfast, but they showed my ******* booking as only the room listed. Breakfast was not included. This misunderstanding ruined our entire vacation experience. It turns out we paid Trip.com for breakfast, which the hotel didn't provide, since ******* only listed the room without breakfast. Very disappointing!"
